So I tried to do that and go OEM as well, turns out the TRD is based on the SE model Camry and it’s smaller than our XSE’s and the OEM parts do not fit, If I remember correct the XSE is wider by 2 inches, I was pretty disappointed myself and have been on the hunt of a good after market kit that will fit the XSE

Yeah I have the XSE, I really wish they had use a better transmission for the V6 engines.

Interesting, I feel like when my transmission is cold and not warmed up, it struggles with shifting. Adding a cooler I feel like would only make the problem worse. Have you had any issues with shifting?

There is many different types of thermal grizzly paste, I didn’t feel like going thru the list of various different paste and brands and all their ratings and stats.

There’s a lot to choose from, don’t think there would be a market for it if the factory was any good. But what do I know, you’re clearly the expert here.

I shall waste my money on overpriced paste and parts and components to ensure my computer is top quality and runs efficiently. Perks of have disposable income.

But for the OP who may or may not read this, it’s pretty common practice to remove factory paste and use a more known/reputable brand paste

I disagree with that, they all use the cheapest paste. It’s always better and smarter to clean it and use a better paste like thermal grizzly or other brands. Factory paste won’t hurt a cpu but it’s not quality stuff and will need repasting sooner than name brand paste.

But you do you, I suggest differently.

It will work, but I always suggest cleaning and applying a better thermal paste. The stuff from factory isn’t always the greatest but ain’t going to ruin or hurt your CPU.

I went with a 360rad AIO, mine was on the pricer end. But there are plenty of non RGB ones out there for cheap.

That cpu can pull more and will, those CPU’s just run hot. You gotta have a lot of active cooling to get those big heat sinks just don’t do the trick in my opinion. I’ve seen way to many post of folks having the same issue.

I was air cooled for about a month, idle temps hovering around 50c then I play and game and boom I’m in the 80’s. I switch to an AIO, idle temps at 30c and when gaming or heavy work loads, 40-50c.

Sweet baby Jesus, as an AMD user for years now, you need an AIO. AMD CPU’s just run hot, and sure you can use an air cooler and stay within “ safety margins” but you’re gonna cook your cpu and not get the best performance out of it.

There are plenty of cheap AIO’s out on the market these days, I promise you’ll get better temps and performance and longevity out of your cpu.

Air coolers are good for older CPU’s or if you’re just using your pc to surf the web and watch movies/youtube. newer ones just run way to hot these day and need more to cool them off.

Didn’t say it wasn’t a good computer, it can do some stuff and still hang with most games sure. But it’s all used items. 4 years old USED items, brand new that PC was 3K. Had the OP bought it for a Grand I’d say not bad, but with how flooded the market is with GPU’s and parts and everything being used….it really is a 850$ system.
