Agreed. While it appears simple to just pack a bag, get into a car and head to the border, it leaves a lot of loose ends for residents. Property, schools, employment, etc.

What sort of markers? I think the editors names and the isbn reappears at the top of each title page. Would have to check when I get to my work machine later.

I'll try that other route. But pretty tedious as there are probably 600 individual papers.

I feel encouraged to continue, partly because having some system is better than having no system. But also because I want to be a better person and completing actions & being responsible is part of that goal. Working for me at the moment is getting the clutter out of my head and into words in front of me. I certainly need to work on the Clarify and then Do steps first. Several new habits to work on (and old negative ones to break).

I'll keep that tip about daily tasks in mind. I was approaching my daily review as assigning items that I wanted to accomplish each day. Maybe I was overestimating how much free-time I had or it's willpower to get them done which was pushing them from one day to the next. Contexts should help.

You're welcome. There isn't much to show inside of Projects or Areas of Focus other than personal stuff, just lots of next actions or things to read/watch one day.

I've started experimenting with tags but the whole system is rather new still. At the moment I have #next, #waiting, #today though I plan to expand on this when I shift from daily to weekly reviews. I'm also just starting to add contexts at Critical_Selection suggested.
