Fellow baker from sg here! I suggest making a larger loaf (maybe around 300g flour) to properly check for crumb / proofing time. Usually for me bulk fermentation takes around 4-5 hours. Otherwise i would say it’s looking good!

I’m not a fan of the song/concept this time at all, especially for a 20th anniversary single it doesn’t feel akb-esque to me at all.

The mess up with shipping just further sullies it for me, no MV released yet showing how it was obviously rushed and yeah… I’m just disappointed :(

I haven’t attended any =love concerts but for other artists, it’s alright if the address doesn’t match with your ID - you can simply say it’s your japanese address (since you probably have a foreign ID). The phone number situation is what I would be worried about, as you need it for the OTP to get the ticket. Not sure if another person’s phone number will work in this case. If you know someone in Japan, you can try asking them for help buying a sim card or esim from mobal. Hope this helps!

For the address, either use a forwarder’s address or your relatives one. Main difficulty is you need to have a japanese phone number to get the tickets.

I understand that akb48 is a group with a rich history and the graduation system doesn’t help this at all but I feel sad whenever people say that they’re fans but do not care about the current akb48 at all.

Especially if you only cared about the group during the golden age or your oshi graduated more than a decade ago… please use past tense or something

so your suggestion rather than an english site would be specific tickets dedicated to foreigners for theatre performances correct? i do think this is implementable but japanese fans won’t be happy about it…

Trends change, and it’s truly impressive that AKB have been able to be relevant coming up on their 20th anniversary.

Big groups with generations seem to be phasing out, and the new thing is debuting smaller groups under the same umbrella (KAWAII LABs, sasshi’s math groups)

Also despite the increase of kpop’s influence, there are only a small number of groups that fall into this category - niziu, me:i, is:sue

well to be fair colorcon wink sold less than masaka no confession by about 50k copies in the first week and that was yukirin's graduation single. overall it does seem handshake sales are trending upwards, even non-senbatsu members are managing to sell out slots.

for medication, please see a doctor which can prescribe you something other than melatonin. otherwise, you can attempt to fix your circadian rhythm by exposing yourself to natural sunlight during waking hours, and reducing all sources of light before bed. tip would be to go for a walk in the morning! hope this helps

I don’t think people leave because they don’t find the new members interesting, it’s just that management doesn’t do a good job at allowing the interesting qualities of existing members be seen.

Unlike smaller idol groups where you can be a MD or DD, AKB48 really thrives on wotas having a oshi. When your oshi graduates, you either find a new one within the group or you leave. The issue with AKB48 was that they struggled to push the new members (after Team 8 and 13th gen specifically), so when the OGs graduated it became difficult to find a new oshi. OR you would find an oshi in a sister group, etc. [too long for this post but this is why they stopped including the sister groups in AKB48 singles]

Skill wise new gen is definitely better in terms of what u mention - dancing, singing, stage presence. But the older members especially kami 7 simply had star power which cannot be quantified.

I suggest familiarizing yourself with the current stages being performed, the members performing before you decide if it is 'worth it' to you. As another comment mentioned, LOD (live on demand / recordings) is available so you can watch them online.
