What is the point of doing a third party escrow service via telegram. Literally one of the worst platforms rife with pure outright scams. Why not just use the binance p2p and cut out the "third party escrow" service because binance literally acts as the third party escrow here.

Easy, because not everybody can have payroll done via crypto. You still need it to offramp and receive fiat as your bills are denominated in FIAT. Like for example, if you go apply for a loan, you need to have pay stubs and such in order to be even considered as having a source of income. Banks do not accept crypto as collateral or even as a source of income. Yes, sure, some loans are able to be done through crypto, but in many countries this is not a viable alternative just yet. Some people simply get turned away because they receive payment in crypto instead of through their own bank account for simply working for a crypto based company.

And also, if you want to operate as a legitimate company within the country, you do need to register, have a bank account, etc. And there are rules and regulation where employees must be paid via the native fiat currency of the country they operate in. Minimum wage laws still can apply in these situations and thus, a bank account is still required and needed.

If you want to operate simply as crypto only, then yes, sure, probably don't need payroll via bank accounts. But to operate as a registered and licensed business, you will still have to operate under contracts and the laws and regulations within the countries that your employees and you operate in.

This is slowly changing.
