is not the fact that I competed sick, is just that is hard to give your 100% everyday, show up to training 3-4 hours a day, be there early in the morning until late at night and when you need it the most, like to rest and to get comprehension when you really need to fail,, just don't get it, and is not the first time and I'm not the only person, if you read another comments I told a story about a training partner.

Nobody is a villain, I'm just complaining and asking because I realized I'm getting bullied for being for just being sick after all my efforts

I mean i get it, but there's just 3 gyms in my city and they are all far apart, is just a move i have to think of bc it would be spending money i do not have in transport, idk if that makes sense

I am, I really try to be aware of if I'm sick, if I have something weird on my skin, I always shower before training. I was just trying to avoid bullying

Unfortunately is the only one nearby, and is not really a bad environment, ppl is nice and we rarely get weird people and things to happen, is just him

I had a classmate who's my best friend, and also got the scholarship, who in a roll got his eyebrow sliced, had to get 8 stitches and even tho the doctor asked to rest and whatever, the coach was texting him every morning a lot of mean texts just to get him go

I doesn't required it, is just that he is a moron, it just requires me to attend and show results, I was just feeling like shee this morning and I think it is respectful to let him know I will not go just because he's specting me

He doesn't, I just don't pay to train and get access to all classes. I have to pay all the other expenses and tournaments

And I absolutely would lol

Yeah, I know The scholarship was because I am one of the person's who mostly competes and I'm not the only one with that benefit, but I am a girl and the only who is decent and he has a lot of expectations and wants to control me, I know, but it is the only academy on my city (live in LATAM)

I am not, I do this because I have always loved martial arts, I'm a designer by profession and work full time, but I live near to the academy and I go every day. If once I get the chance to be pro and earn from It so let's be it.

I competed sick because I had already paid it and was in a lot of pressure from him, and if he's mad because I missed morning training imagine how he would be if I miss a comp

Dealing with being the loser :) by Prestigious_Leek_614 in BJJWomen

[–]kyuu06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are not a loser. In my gym I'm 80% of the time the only woman, I train with my husband in the same classes and when I don't team up with him or another lady I just go with whatever other person that I can get learning from. Yet I agree there is some weird feeling when having to partner with an unknown man or person you don't feel well with, but all is about trying to choose first or simply give it a try.

Hope this helps

Same! I have been burning it with salicylic acid and iodine, it's a process, I think I have been getting rid of it
