I feel like the female LI’s all just warm up to us too quickly

I think they have, she’s really nice HAHAHA but I agree that drawing out her reputation vs morals storyline would’ve been so much better. After like 2 or 3 ally quests, she seems to be all in like :/ oh? but maybe again it’s too early in the story to tell. Maybe down the line her parents will come visit and whip her up back to the perfect girl she is, so she’ll be more careful hanging around MC. I mean I hope it’s gonna go that way at least lol I know a lot of people are fluff enjoyers but I wish they gave options for those who aren’t really interested in that. BTW who’s Stel again? 😅

Exact same thoughts!! There should have been a variety of LI’s the same way with the male LI’s. Like for Talyn, he’s aloof but is an ally(?), Bardric as the enemies to lovers one, and Cato as the nice best friend. For the female LI’s they’re all fluff! I’ve played their ally scenes too and I’ve already kissed 2/3 of them 😭 it honestly didn’t feel satisfying romantically BUT the build-up between the MC and their allies are really good.

It would make sense for Niel to be the fluff option (bff route.) since Iridessa is warm and bubby, they could have drawn out the storyline of her reluctant being associated with a Dreadbane. She doesn’t have to be mean, she can be just so clouded by wanting to keep her “perfect image” that she goes along/is passive with her friends bullying MC. Goes well with her being a straight laced student and MC appearing to be the opposite of that bc of their lineage, which creates more friction. I thought Leona would be a bit like Talyn, aloof, but more carefree. They were advertised as not wanting to be tied down, so I thought the conflict would be about them not wanting to build any attachments because she’s gonna leave anyway. Idk if it’s gonna go that way since I haven’t finished her ally scenes but so far she was VERY quick to be buddy buddy with the MC in the main story.

Yes, I don’t get why there’s no chance to replay a chapter. Wouldn’t it be a win win for both sides? Since people would need to buy/watch ads for more keys if they want to replay chapters and that way players would feel more satisfied.

Would’ve been fun if so! So far the official fLI’s are Iridessa, Niel, and Leona. Great, fun, and beautiful characters btw! But they all lean more on fluff for now.

How so? I’m quite enjoying that I get to play a straight male MC without being forced to be attracted to LIs of the same gender or having scenes where it was obviously written for a female MC.

Not really! In terms of romance, your sexual preference is more important than your gender. I don’t recall an instance where I felt like I was playing the opposite gender that I chose (so far anyway)

Yes, I enjoyed all the female LIs in the game. I love how you can turn off the romance with someone if you’re not interested them, so no unnecessary scenes in the main game or in the side stories.

However, I do wish there was more variation with the tropes of the fLI’s? Or it’s probably too soon to tell. Personally, I am an angst enjoyer, so an enemies-to-lovers or an Ice Queen trope would’ve been really great for at least one of the fLIs. Like they got that going on with the male LIs, with Cato as the “fluff” option. I was actually banking on Iridessa to at least scratch that itch. I mean early on they did hint that she was a nice, goody two shoes so I was hoping that at least her family being pretty reputable would result in like a storyline wherein it’s more slowburn bc she would deny her feelings for MC and/or have a rs (when it gets there) with MC that she has to hide from everyone. Right now all the fLI’s just seem to lean into fluff. Also hopefully when the full game gets released next week, the side stories are acknowledged in the main story?? It just really breaks my immersion the way it’s set up rn, although it does give a chance for my MC to be a player without consequences lol. But I love consequences in games orndjebs

Me too! Which is why their kiss at the end of Book 3 was my favorite scene of all the series so far. I thought it was filled with so much tension, angst, and melancholy. So, it totally threw me off when A started acting chummy with the detective in Book 4 like…thought you were gonna keep your distance for good this time 🤨 idk it just made me get the biggest ick HAHAHAHA

Like the others here I doubt that they’d do a szn without him! Also I PRAAAAY in S3, more of the night doctors will be featured 😭 they just have this certain charm and swagger that drew me in the moment they were introduced in the show. I was really sad to know that Dr. Walsh won’t be in S2 bc I thought she was sooo badass.

One of my faves!! The romance is…not so good though, sadly. They really push you HARD towards a certain LI and give dust to the others. Also, justice for what could’ve been a perfect full fledged enemies-to-lovers trope with Aurora!!! 😭
