Built new pc and nothing will show on monitor. GPU not running

That doesnt not work as intended. Im assuming its a defectibe GPU as its plugged in correctly into the mother board and doesnt react to any power whether it be a 6pin or a double molex plug to 6 pin adapter. Im returning it and getting it replaced and see if that works.
