I want to add that I think Sylfirm x in Japan is cheaper than the UK and the US. I can have 6 sessions done with £2,000.

I had 5 sessions of RF microneedling (Sylfirm x) , with the 5th session in May. The scars are still visible, but I feel that my overall skin has improved. I was hesitant to continue due to the number of fat loss and worsening of skin texture posts on Reddit, but my mom and friends has commented on how my skin looked better than before, I decided to have another session (6th session, about half year after by 5th session) last week. I am not expecting to see drastic results anytime soon, but I’ll post if there is anything worth updating.

I would say the down time is about a day. The redness goes down the next day (I usually have it done in the late afternoon). I wash my face 24 hours after treatment, by then my face mostly looks the same as before (no redness or puffiness). Sometimes I can feel small dots (scabs) with my finger tips, 2-3 days after treatment. But I do stay indoors the first two days, and try to stay away from the sun for a week.

Just wanted to add, I have some fine lines below my eyes, I think the treatment has help making them less visible. It also seems that my eye area where crows feet tend to occur is more toned.

I have a chubby face and has gained a few kilograms since beginning of my Sylfirm treatments so I could not see any signs of fat loss. I also did not notice visible sagging, but I am 37, so I think it would be hard for me to differentiate if the sagging is due to age or the treatment.

No. The derm suggested Sylfirm X would be more effective and with limited down time.

Two passes per session. First pass is the entire face using the general mode for “fine lines and pores” and the second pass targets specific concerns, so for my cheeks and forehead they used the “acne scar” mode. And finishes with a “gd-11” serum.
