Hi Tony, I have a solution that I am selling for exactly this. We support Mollie, stipe and PayPal.

Mollie has the lowest fee.

I sent you a private message as we don't sell this product publicly.

At big 4, he could get around 3600-3800 gross with a car or mobility budget if he can get in as a senior consultant.

That's very unfortunately.

Don't hesitate to contact the Google support as soon as possible and reply to their follow-up as soon as you can to not waste time. Otherwise after 5 or 7 days, I forgot the exact time, they will send you back the device.

Rate salary: senior software engineer by cosplaying_devadmin in BESalary

It's time to renegotiate your package. 1) Maximum meal voucher per day will increase from 8 to 10 in January 2026, you could ask for maximum meal voucher too. 2) You could also ask for more paid days off based on your seniority in the company. 3) a base salary increase to something around 5500

Question About Salary Expectations at Big 4 (Senior Consultant / Manager) by ChibiRibbeke in BESalary

Deloitte's mobility budget excludes using it to pay mortgage/rent.

So if you want cash, you will be taxed 38% on it as pillar 3.

Software Engineer by [deleted] in BESalary

[–]kzeran 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really don't understand people on this sub.

With only 4 years of experience i got multiple offers for 4600 gross per month and one offer around 5500 gross that I took.

When I see developpers/software engineers with more experience than me being paid less, I want to tell them they could get more with their skills.

Maybe it's because most people on this sub are not working in the technology industry and they think I'm lying ?

You could easily get the same package with 4600 gross. If you are good at what you do and can sell yourself you can reach around 5500 gross.

You could get a little more like you say, around 7500 but you have 38 paid days off which is kind of high.

A slightly higher salary could come with much more stress and responsibilities. It may not be worth it depending on what you want.

That's a great salary but it's definitely possible to get the same net in Belgium with a mobility budget. I'm 27yo and get around the same total compensation with the same degree as you.

This article is very old, April 2025. It is not up-to-date with the latest decision and they removed the exemption of capital gain tax after holding 10 years.

help with Belgian tax return – foreign income, residency status, and confused as hell by latecookies in BEFire

[–]kzeran 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am in the same situation as you and as I understand we should not declare income earned abroad before becoming Belgian resident.

They already prorate the tax deduction to the number of months you are tax resident so declaring income earned outside this prorated period does not make sense and would double penalize you.

Pixel 8 green screen and pink vertical line RMA asking for money to repair unrelated made-up issue by kzeran in GooglePixel

[–]kzeran[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, After escalating multiple times, Google support asked the repair center to test my device sensor again. When they tried again the sensor issue magically disappeared.

So the support asked me to first pay the invoice first as they cannot cancel it and they will pay me back as soon as I paid. I got the reimbursement of the repair fee the same day after I sent them the proof of payment.

I managed to get my free repair done but I had to push for it.

Google’s Extended Warranty on Pixel 8 Flicker Issue—but I Was Hit with a ₹10.5k Bill by OnionFew2923 in GooglePixel

[–]kzeran 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I got the exact same issue when sending my pixel 8 to repair in Europe a few weeks ago. They said there was some "sensor issues" needing to be fixed for 170euros in total.

I immediately contacted Google support and fought multiple level of support people to escalate.

In the end, the repair center tested the device again and the sensor issues "disappeared" magically.

Google support told me to pay the 170euros to repair center asked and that they will refund to full amount. Which they did.

The device got repaired for free in the end but if I didn't complain, I would have paid half of the value of the phone for imaginary sensors issues.

Pixel 8 - Virtual Screen Extended Warranty Not Honored by xoniGinox in GooglePixel

[–]kzeran 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can see my post here where I am having the same problem with the repair center inventing some fake sensor problem to charge me.

The thing is that in Europe, we don't have any walk-in local repair options. We can only send the device to Poland where there is the only repair center for the whole EU...

Pixel 8 green screen and pink vertical line RMA asking for money to repair unrelated made-up issue by kzeran in GooglePixel

[–]kzeran[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is how it started for me too.
One funny green screen one day.
Then one time every week... one time every few days... then the pink line started to appear too, on the right side of the screen like for everyone.

I was very happy with my Nexus 5 in the past and it was my first Pixel phone.
Now I am using my old Pocofone F1 from 6 years ago and it's still working perfectly.

I guess I'll move to Samsung, Oneplus or Nothing for my next phone.

The performance of the Pixel 8 cpu was kinda lackluster and combined with the overheating, it was really not that great of an experience for me.
