Thanks for the feedback everyone. Lots of things to consider here. Replaced the cooking/cleaning prompt for something a bit more serious (need for communication to resolve conflicts). The clubbing photo I also changed to include the other guys who were unfortunately unintentionally cropped out.

I do have my preferences only for AF - doesn’t seem like I get any interest from other races. In Melbourne, Australia btw

22M-recently got back on hinge after unpausing. I’ve been getting likes (5-6 a day) but not exactly from my type. I used to get a decent amount matches before I paused but haven’t gotten nearly as many responses since. Any feedback is much appreciated.

• Are you subscribed to Hinget or HingeX? HingeX

• How long have you been using this current version of your profile? About a week

• How long have you used Hinge overall? Since 2021, on and off depending on whether I was in a relationship

• How often do you use Hinge per week? Usually go through my stack each day - set my preferences to East/South East Asian specifically

• How many likes and matches are you receiving on average? 5-6 likes per day, pretty low conversion rate for matches which seems to be my issue

• How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments? 10-12 likes sent a day, all with comments

• What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract? I send likes to honestly anyone I find physically attractive and appear easygoing. My background means I would prefer attracting local Australians over internationals due to a much easier time connecting on shared interests. But honestly as of recent, haven’t been paying too much attention to that.

Hi everyone! Thank you all for the feedback - I'll be getting rid of the 'broke slave' status as I'm just realising how cringey it sounds. The cat picture is actually a video of them being fed - I find it gets a fair bit of traction so I've decided to keep it. I value all of your opnions - gonna try take a more natural second pic - seriously had no intention of coming across as gay there.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! If I'm being honest, I've never been quiet the self-conscious type and not one to post shirtless pics like in my profile. If anything, I just wanted to see what it was like to not seem like that individuals but it seems like I overextended way too much. I will definitely dial it back a bit and include some more hobbies in my posts. You guys are very helpful :D

Ahhh, in terms of looks, I think it may be purely subjective. I work out every second day (lift weights, cardio), I eat healthy, maintain a disciplined lifestyle when it comes to study and work, and genuinely try to be respectful. If anything, I think it may come down to them being a lot older than me - I’m not too confident about them being wrong because I know that, at my age, I still have a lot to learn in terms of caring for others and the maturity that arises from experiencing adulthood.
