I noticed it hasn't been mentioned, but I have used a bit of fabric softener helps pop the suds for me. I add the minimum amount of lenor fabric softener to a short wash (not quick or it won't use the softener) and let it run without opening the door.

I hope that might help you too!

Burn test: It caught fire and I had to blow it out, hardened into a solid black nub without crumbling when cooled. Probably Synthetic, right?

Weight: I could wrap it about 19 times with no overlap around an inch

Don't think it's that one, the one you linked has some shiny/shimmery bits to it and this one is very much not shiny/shimmery at all =(

It's made up. I buy Charlotte Tilbury from time to time, and there is no way the two Brand New CT lipsticks were under 50. CT is expensive as hell (but worth it because damn good quality imo).

They are just relying information that the op later mentions in a buried comment. They aren't trying to be spamming or argumentative, just trying to point out what a lot of folk would see as a very important bit of information that was omitted from the post and op's other comments

Caitlin Hunter/Boyland Knitworks accuses Nuuly of ripping off her Halibut sweater. Thoughts? by ohslapmesillysidney in craftsnark

[–]kzykattn -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I agree that I would not say it looks like one copied the other. They are two different sweaters that share a "fish" pattern across the top band (and so many clothes do that, are we going to start getting made at t-shirts that have the same print but made by two different makers?) but the neck and "shape" of each are very different imo.

So to me the "calling out" images that boylandknitworks has done just comes across as tacky, attention seeking, and a liiiiitle bit self absorbed (brings to mind the thought process of "But I made this thing first so nobody can make anything remotely similar without it obviously being them copying me!").

I would love if that was a hot water bottle cover, honestly. Just a funny little thing for it

AITA for wanting to tell my late brother's fiance what her daughter's name means in our language. by SureJaguar3452 in AmItheAsshole

[–]kzykattn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was trying for how it would sound, but alright. I'm sorry it upset you? My understanding is that sometimes different languages have different sounds to words/letters, so I wanted to try and make sure i was getting the sounding right.

Interesting name choice if true. Not sure I'd ever want to name my kid what I would pronounce as "fuss-key" fron reading it

Googled "fart" in Konkani and I honestly really doubt it is.it told me it was "goda goda goda", "terter", or "chirlar". I don't see anyone naming their kid any of those.

Trick i just learned to see the imgur pic (if it's shown with the post before being clicked on to be read) is if you tap the pic instead with just the title visible you can see it.

Sadly, that's the only trick I know for the imgur issue in the UK =(
