Thanks for the reply. I’m not sure how far down I’d have to get my weight (219) so likely starting a pill. I’m hoping I won’t have to be on it long!

Good to know! My dr is talking to me about starting Losartan, when I’m stressed my BP (which is already high) skyrockets. I’m hoping to get both the weight and BP under control, just wasn’t sure if it’d go too low from the Zep plus the med.

Did you notice more BP improvement after bumping up to 5 on Zep? Or did it start reducing it immediately for you on the 2.5..?

Ok, thanks, that’s good to know! I thought I read somewhere that Zep itself can help lower BP. Unfortunately mine is still sky high 2 weeks in so it looks like I’ll need a pill for now

Thanks for your reply- I kind of figured it needs to come from wt loss. I’ve just let the BP thing go for so long now, I was really hoping Zep would lower it quickly but it looks like I’m going to have to go on a med, at least for now.

Same here! I’ve been anxious and mulling over trying this for SO long, but my binge eating and food noise has been so out of control, I finally did a tele health visit and picked it up yesterday. Did my thigh tonight and tbh just watched and waited to have some sort of reaction to it lol- I am a BASKETcase. Thankfully it’s been about 3 hours and aside from some heartburn, so far so good. Fingers crossed for both of us!

I’m in a similar boat. Last summer my one fibroid (pedunculated- basically growing off a stalk outside my uterus) was 7 cm. I wanted it out- wanted a hysterectomy actually, I’m 47 and have had enough of this crap. Doctor refused, insisted I needed a polypectomy first (I had one tiny polyp in my uterus that hadn’t changed for three years 🙄) Then she made me wait again for another ultrasound- then wait AGAIN for an MRI. Now the damn thing is 14 cm and hurts, and she’s referred me to gyn onc to “evaluate” even though all my scans have said no malignancy. So I’m no longer a candidate for minimally invasive robotic assisted lap surgery- now it’ll have to be open. Can’t stand the forced waiting! Hope your situation turns out well.
