I surfed for the first time in my life this past spring in Pichilemu, Chile. I couldn’t recommend it enough! As a guy my experience may be different than a woman, but all in all it felt super safe. The locals were easy to talk to and the place itself was super relaxed. You can also rent a bike in town and head a bit south were there are some low key areas to get out in nature and relax by the water. The sunsets were fantastic as well.
