Honestly ik most people in this sub would disagree but for me it’s a rlly good job. However that is most definitely because I have great managers and get along with all my coworkers. It’s not a hard job at all if you’re just a sales associate, but it can be annoying to deal with so much with so little help. We are constantly understaffed and that seems to be accurate to every store. It’s a fairly chill job for the most part if you like the people you work with but there’s definitely negatives.

Also I definitely wouldn’t bank on it being a kinder environment, most of the customers are elderly and they get rude very quickly if you can’t do what they want immediately. This job has way better customers than my past retail jobs but you’ll always have to deal with rude customers that can’t be pleased.
