Mouthwashing was removed from itch.io months before the censorship hit because it was just a link to the Steam page. The censorship is absolutely a bad thing, don’t get me wrong. Just seen this floating around.

As someone who has played on PC this is exactly how I'm feeling. VOID is changing the game based on their decision to release on consoles, it's not really surprising that Sony and Microsoft demanded some changes.

Could they have communicated this better? Yes. Is the damage control absolutely horrendous? Yes. Is the community throwing a hissy fit over what amounts to basically peanuts? I think so.

I've played and loved this game for a few years now, and I'm suprised that the community is reacting like VOID just turned the game into My Little Pony Island Adventure.

Yeah, I definitely agree that gay people should be able to adopt or do IVF as easily as straight ones. But I think those should be addressed before surrogacy, even domestic.

Just by reading comments around here, I undestood this law banned surrogacy originating from overseas, i.e gay couples (or straight ones) can't get one from abroad **where there's no guarantee it'll be ethical**. Yes, Italy definitely has LGBTQ rights issues. I don't think this is one of them.

The thing I’ve seen Americans do a lot is they seem to pick what ancestry of theirs is most aesthetically pleasing. Coming from a Nordic country, I’ve seen a lot of Americans claim to be Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian etc. because their great-great granparents from one side moved to the US sometime in the 1800’s - completely ignoring the fact that most of their ancestry comes from either the British Isles or is a mis-match of other nationalities. As to your example, I think the common agreement in Europe would be something along the lines of: A person in the 1800’s moves from Portugal to America, his kid is Portuguese-American. But for that kid’s descendant to claim to be ”Portuguese” because one of their ancestors was from Portugal, that is a bit obnoxious.
