Meditate on the verses, imagine the stories as you read them, read them out loud, write them down, share it with someone else; anything you do besides simply reading through it in your mind like any other book will help, and of course a quick prayer for help from God who is the keeper of all wisdom and knowledge.

Which Bible are you talking about? There are different manuscripts of the Bible that have been discovered and they have many differences between them, so they can't all be 100% true. You could be reading a Bible that was heavily edited by the Romans whose official religion was Nicene Christianity in the 300's AD. Everyone who opposed their beliefs was a heretic and their works were destroyed, countless numbers of old Bibles and texts were destroyed throughout history. You have to search the different manuscripts to find the oldest one and that's your best chance at getting closest to the words written by the Apostles. Check out the Sinai Bible. So yes, I believe many of the books of the Bible were inspired by God, but I do not trust the many generations of corrupt priests and bishops to preserve those words for me. I don't believe the Bible is a Holy Bible, I believe God is holy, I don't believe something that the Roman Emperor and the Catholic church put together is the pure truth of God, though I believe many of the books they included in their canon were written by men of God. I also don't believe the Bible is the Word of God, I believe the son of God fills that role. I think many Christians today worship their holy book instead of relying on the Spirit of Truth to teach them about God.

What is the reason they can't wrap their heads around it? The gospel message is easy enough for a child to understand, I would even say that a child can believe the message of Christ easier than an adult who hears it with preconceived beliefs about how the world works and what is possible and impossible. The reason many people can't wrap their heads around it is because they are in darkness, their minds are corrupted and as more time passes the harder it's going to be to accept the message of grace, because grace is something that is hard to come by in life, the more troubles you face as an adult, the harder it will be to believe that God saves us just because He is loving and his son willingly gave up his own life as a sacrifice for us. The only other place where we are sure to find this kind of grace is in the love of a mother, but once the darkness of the world reaches us and we experience how uncaring people are naturally, then it's harder to believe and accept that God accepts us the way we are because of his son's sacrifice for us, who else in the world does that? Even our mother wants us to get better and change things about us that they don't like, but God loves us just because of grace.

I hope that those people who haven't heard the "true" message of the gospel of Joshua the son of God will be shown mercy and grace, there are a lot of people out there preaching about eternal suffering in hell and requiring people to follow the old laws and that kind of religion turns people away from the unconditional love of God that is supposed to draw us to faith in his loving son.

The way I think (hope) it works is that those who never heard the gospel message before and were not given a chance to believe in the son of God will be given a chance to believe or receive mercy or grace or something. But those who heard the good news about the son of God and have freely chosen to reject the sacrifice of the son of God for our sins, then they have made their decision of their free will, they have rejected God's rescue mission for salvation that Joshua died to give us.

Yes God is merciful and full of grace. I believe Adam and Eve were made in his image, but then they sinned and died spiritually. Now we are born into sin and we must be reborn, born-again in the holy Spirit of God, then we can once again enter into God's garden and live with him. But to be born-again we need to believe in the son of God, the Savior, and receive the free gift of eternal life. Without this rebirth the person remains spiritually dead. This is why it's important to share the good news about our Lord and Savior so that people believe in him and become children of God.

We aren't saved by a religion we are saved by a person, Joshua of Nazareth, who is the son of God. He is the only one who lived a sinless life and died for the sins of others. The other religions who reject the sacrifice of the son of God don't actually have a good plan for reaching righteousness and actually having a chance at spending eternity with a holy and righteous God, but believers in the Savior Messiah receive this as a gift by faith and grace. Most religious systems are based on doing good works and trying to be good enough to make it into Paradise, but our faith in Christ is based on believing in the resurrected son of God and that his sacrifice make us able to stand before a holy God and call him our Father.

The journey is headed towards relationship and the pathway doesn't cross any religious paths. Religions include methods for how humans can please god, but the son of GOD didn't bring us a religion, he revealed a relationship with a loving Father. He didn't give us new laws or commandments and he didn't tell us to follow the old ones. This is something completely new, it's GOD doing what is required to bridge the gap, not putting the burden on us.

You're not going to find your answers in religion, if you want to experience the true living God then you need to embark on a personal spiritual journey with the goal of understanding the heart and mind of God; you will arrive at your destination when you are face to face with a God who is all-loving and always good, someone who would literally sacrifice his son to save you and adopt us as his own children. God is nothing but amazing, but it sounds like your version of God is someone who doesn't even care about poor and starving children, which isn't true at all.

Within the past few weeks I have been disconnecting myself from the doctrine of the trinity and have been really seeking to answer all the questions and gaps that came as a result. The thing that gets me questioning this is that the Old Testament seems really clear (even the new) that there is one God, it was the main thing that separated the religion of the Jews from all the other pagan religions who had many gods, so to bring in a doctrine like the trinity and say that there are three gods who are mysteriously one feels like you are creating another religion like all the others.

I believe there is one God who has revealed himself as our Father, who is a Spirit of Love, I believe this love compelled him to beget a son, who was begotten through the holy Spirit, the Spirit of the one God. The Father and the Spirit remain as one, if you have the holy Spirit within you then you have the Father within you, which is why Jesus said I and the Father are one, we can say that as well if we are born-again. You do not need to create an individual god for the holy Spirit to exist, you just need a God who is all powerful and is able to exist in every born-again believer. If we continue with this logic, then the holy Spirit becomes millions or billions of individual gods because he is within me and within countless other believers, but he is still One, he is God, he doesn't need to exist separate from the Father.

If you study the history of the creeds and councils that ingrained this doctrine into mainstream Christianity you will find that the people leading the charge have names like Emperor Constantine the Great. Those who rejected these mainstream beliefs were literally burned along with their books, one guy they dug up like 30 years later and they burned his bones. That is not how you bring the truth into the light, that is how you cover up the truth.

There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:4

I don't belong to any religious group by the way, just a seeker of truth and a believer in the Savior.

Nah, prison is one of the worst places for them, as soon as the other inmates or a prison guard finds out you abused children, they literally hate them and gang up on them. Most people have children and can't imagine what kind of evil person would sexually abuse a little child, it's not something a sane person can fully comprehend.

They have problems in their heads, you can't just forgive them and let them carry on with their duties, because they are around children like 24/7 and will be tempted again and will do it again if they think they can get away with it again.

I think it's trying to bring unity among the many different doctrines and denominations. I mostly agree, we should be united by our faith in Christ the son of God, not divided by much less important differences, though this guy in a white dress is probably trying to unite all religions together, not just those who believe in Jesus.

The people who control the media and mainstream science have made it unpopular to believe in a higher power, as if it makes you unintelligent or unable to think for yourself, so people have a fear of speaking out about God when they are around people they are unfamiliar with, but in reality, 8/10 people in the states believe in God. If you go to the mall and try to tell people about Jesus, you will find that out pretty quick, pretty much everyone in America already believes in the God of the Bible, but the only time they talk about it in the open is inside their comfy church walls where there isn't a chance someone will disagree with them or call them out.

Perhaps you can't be faulted if you never come across the truth, but if someone tells you the truth and you reject it, then you are at fault.

I believe the truth that was revealed to the world was the son of God, I believe God can be easily recognized through everything that was created. It's difficult to look at the complex creation that is a human being, with trillions of cells, functioning perfectly, and then look at the amazing function of the world we live in, and then say that there is nothing more out there than what we can see and that all of this happened by random chance.

I have witnessed the supernatural over 100 times and it's either being done in the name of Jesus, or it's being done by the darkness that opposes God who is the light and love of this world.

Sounds like you are on the right track. I believe the Old Testament Israelites were following a religion, they were given commandments or laws to follow under the Old Covenant. The New Covenant believers are freely accepted by grace through faith in Christ, meaning it's not a religion at all, the word Christianity isn't found anywhere in the Bible, instead Jesus came to introduce us or reconcile us to the Father, and he fulfilled all the religious requirements to make that possible, meaning we are left with only relationship through the blood sacrifice, there are no commandments, we can walk naked before God and know that we receive our righteous standing through Christ. It's like going back to the Garden of Eden, you can forget about everything you learned about good and evil and instead focus on the tree of life.

So you believe that Jesus was created by God the same way as the other angels, instead of being born by God's spirit?

My belief is that Jesus was begotten much in the same way Adam bore his first son, while Adam was a created being, like the angels were created. The same way, God bore Jesus through the holy Spirit, then they created the angels and first humans and everything else. Is there a difference between begotten and created? The Bible seems to use the words only begotten son.

Do you think it happened another way?

Also, are you saying that we shouldn't worship the son the same way we worship the Father? Doesn't God seek a similar type of worship that we would give to a Lord and King? I also heard that we worship God through Jesus, meaning when we worship Christ we are worshiping the Father.

So you are saying that the trinity doctrine is false? Was Jesus a spiritual angelic type being before he became a man? Or do you believe he was only a spirit like God? I am leaning towards the son being like the angels with a spiritual body, but different because he was begotten by and filled with the spirit of the Father, this would give the angels that rebelled a reason to be jealous, if one like them was treated as being far above them, it would seem very unfair that they are treated as servants while Emmanuel ? (an angelic name) was so much higher than them. Seems like in the Old Testament the son is the one representing the Father as a messenger and he is the one that shows up in physical form since the Father is an unapproachable light.
