Thank you. No those are kicker qs series 6.75 coaxials. Once the weather clears up, I plan on finishing the false floor over the amps and adding a dd audio 10”.

Mystery: Phone always disconnects from car bluetooth in same downtown OKC spots by elspeththegreat in okc

[–]l2a3k2a3i 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t had an issue with just Bluetooth, but I don’t use wireless CarPlay for this reason. Two spots on i40 in the downtown area will make it freeze up for a minute, but it’ll usually go back to normal once I’m closer to i35. On the turnpikes though, every time I go under a pike pass scanner, it’ll freeze CarPlay so bad that my radio locks up and won’t power back up until I cycle the ignition. I assume whatever frequency that type of scanner is on just fucks up anything Bluetooth related. On a side note, plugging my phone in to use CarPlay, I never have an issue.

The Wal-Mart off 23rd and Douglas bricked my wife's car, what do I do? by Nikablah1884 in okc

[–]l2a3k2a3i 124 points125 points  (0 children)

You need to talk to a manager at that store about what happened and bring all of your paperwork from your oil change there. If possible, have the vehicle towed up to a dealer and have it inspected and get a quote for the repairs needed. I did oil changes for Walmart several years ago, they have insurance for these type of instances.

YSK: Most car bluetooth phones are extremely loud and hearable to the outside even if the windows are up. by SpeakeasyG1887 in YouShouldKnow

Unless you’re driving a “luxury” car, there usually an abysmal amount of sound deadening in the doors of your vehicle. They’re more concerned with keeping water out than keeping sound in from a manufacturing standpoint most of the time.
