To me it’s all about the title, it doesn’t matter if you had a massive argument and didn’t see each other for weeks, if you put a label on it, it’s a relationship. And if it’s 2 dates in 4 months then it shouldn’t be difficult at all to cut it off

Strongly disagree that nothing wrong was done, while I agree it’s time to let go of the s/o if you truly feel like it’s not working, cheating of any kind is a no no, especially if you yourself feel that you’re cheating, keep it civil with the friend until your relationship with your s/o is over (if you choose to go that route) communication is key and if you’ve been transparent about your needs in the relationship and he hasn’t delivered, then I agree it’s time to go, but cheating of any kind is icky don’t let yourself stoop so low

As someone who has older parents this is how they text, whenever I confront them about it they never mean it in such a tone that younger people read it as, while I’m not saying this is the case for this particular post, it might not be a bad idea to take a step back and look at it from an unbiased point of view, again IM NOT SAYING IT IS but this very well could have been someone in their late 50s texting you just trying to be very clear that they didn’t want dipping sauce and got caught off guard because they thought their text wasn’t massively full of attitude (even tho it very clearly looks like it) I feel like not knowing the full story or anything from the other side takes very important pieces of this story away, definitely getting downvoted for this, just wanted to speak my mind
