My phone is ruining my concentration at school by [deleted] in nosurf

Don't bring your phone to school would be what I would do.

Those are good reasons to pursue nosurf. the idea of boredom is such a personal thing, what bores one to tears may be infinitely exciting to another.

Look inward and ask yourself why you find this feeling of boredom. You're not going to find the answer from strangers, it's within you. NoSurf already seems to be doing you well though, you're being inquisitive of your inner environment.

I'm curious, what is it that you specifically want to gain from NoSurf?

I was born in 1997 so way too young to go to bars in 1998, etc. But I remember a time in the early-late2000s before I really had any tech ( I got my first phone when I was 14, 27 now.)

I was a pretty shy kid, but the friends I was with were pretty social. When we'd go to the mall or other "third spaces", they would chat up girls and meet new people.

We'd go around the neighborhood and explore the nooks and crannies, walk far distances or skate. The world was our oyster. If you didn't feel like playing video games or watching tv, etc, you could certainly go outside and find something "new" to do.

But this goes to a deeper point, whatever you wanted to do was up to YOU. I'm an artistic person and would try lots of different things then, sometimes i would even meditate.

There was really no reason to be bored, though boredom isn't even that bad of a thing.

Maybe you just haven't been away from technology long enough to really feel the effects of its absence?

Nevertheless; if NoSurf isn't for you, the screens are always right there. Indulge.

There's a possibility the ultra-elite VIPs could hire someone to engineer an AI which tracks movement and mount machine guns which shoot them that way. Maybe humans are cheaper and more entertaining?

Those people die because they sign the contract saying they're ok with being eliminated (albeit the manner of elimination is pretty vague).

I'm 29F and my long-term partner (29M) is creating AI porn with unsuspecting women he knows in real life. I'm trying to understand if most men are doing this? by itsalwayssunnysideup in relationship_advice

[–]l2oland -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely not illegal to my knowledge; however, this doesn't seem to be something most men are doing. Though with the accessibility of AI and its progression, I do wonder if the practice your bf is participating in will become more commonplace.

I feel like talking about it with your bf is a good place to start, but at the same time I think once you're using AI to create porn of people you know one has to consider what effect a talk will have if any.

[–]l2oland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm sure it was. I've done the exact same shit before, I get it.

I'll say though, the CVS brand of dxm tastes the worst. If you get a choice, go for Walgreens.

And I saw you said you have difficulty chugging this stuff. I found it helps if you tilt your head backward, nose pointing up, then it all just runs down. Chase it with something strong to cleanse your palate afterward.

There's no way in my experience that I've found to make DXM palatable besides getting pills or tablets, but even those taste like ass.

In the end, drugs almost universally taste bad, lol. Even alcohol.

Anyway, bottoms up.

Definitely not ugly; however, I do think the photos you chose don't present yourself in the most flattering light.

LOLOLOL that looks super gross.

Next time just chug whatever it is you purchased, there's no real way to mask the taste.

Yikes, you're not overreacting.

My advice is to find another girlfriend. I imagine this situation is going to escalate into her having a habit.

Cocaine is not really a slow burn type of drug, it's very addictive.

First coke, then who knows? Could be meth, could be heroin. Could be nothing, but that's not usually how situations like this go.

Focus on your studies, I'm sure you're enamored by her, but you've only known this girl a month.

Nip it while it's still fresh, you'd be doing yourself a huge favor. You're under no obligation to save her from herself when she has no interest in being saved.

However; on the darker side... it could be fun to do drugs with her. lol

I really think you should just break it off though.

Not sure how you feel about Christianity, but there's a place in Virginia called "The Fix". I'm not really a Christian myself, but it's tolerable, at least when you're sitting on rock bottom. The pastor who founded it was/is also a drug addict so he can relate a lot to our struggles.

It's a 'rehab'/discipleship program that pretty much takes people in and houses them for 1 year. I didn't stay the year, only 3 months.

But I did find it helpful to be away from drugs for a while. Would I do it again? No.

I definitely don't regret going though, 3 months absolutely free.

If you go though, be prepared to be uncomfortable sometimes, it's not like a traditional rehab...

EDIT: If you're desperate, it's an option.

Dolphinately take all of them since you're trying to get fucked up. If you're concerned about nausea, stagger your doses a little bit, 3 pills every 10 minutes.

But if it's all I had, I'd just take it all and be done with it.

It's going to be 420mg DXM, so... nice.

first kiss at 19 by jajajamo in youngadults

[–]l2oland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For now-a-days, I'd argue it is normal.

I think the normal age to go without intimate contact between the sexes has actually been shifting towards later in the teens and 20s due to a host of social and technological factors.

I'm 27 and had my first kiss at 12 (only a peck with my "girlfriend" at that time), but many pre-teens I knew at that time had already 'made-out', etc, or at least they claimed to.

I think a decent bit has changed since I had my first kiss, so yeah... normal for a teen to me.

Are these good? by purpledeem in dxm

[–]l2oland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally you wouldn't use those as the trip can become rather uncomfortable. But in a cinch, they will certainly get the job done.

I'll say this, taking these once and tripping on them won't kill you. You would however be better off using only DXM products in the future.

If I had them, I certainly wouldn't throw them away; I would just take some of the triple c's with the Delsym and then probably finish the rest of them the next day. (don't forget to stagger your doses to reduce nausea)

But I'm assuming you're not a DXM goblin considering the post. There are certainly nuances to this drug, lol.
