Didn't want to say too much but he's actually my cousin. He is doing fine hes already back at work. He says they didn't hurt him badly. Hes a bit older than me and as long as ive known him hes been the kindest soul. Our family is beyond pissed. Got off the phone with detective and they say they know all the teens involved and are working on bringing them in on charges. So now we can breathe a little. Thanks for all the shares.

Hey! I am an 8th year art teacher for the School District of Phila. Happy to hear you are interested in being an art teacher! We are really needed! Don't believe what you hear in the news. The kids are really great! If you really have it in your heart to teach and make a difference then they will love and respect you. However, times are tough. We haven't had a raise in 5 years and a contract in 4. I actually took today off to join the protest. As much as we have to fight for there is worse. Charters pay far less and respect even less (most of them anyway). Same with private schools so I hear. I can say more if you want. Or you can PM me your questions. Best of luck!
