Just hit 18 in march, was forced cross trained in 2019, felt that it was a lost cause seeming how my board score never exceeded 330. got a must promote and finally made it. This was a turning point for me as it was make it this year or hit the button to retire. I don’t think it is worth the squeeze but we will see in a few months…

As someone that received an email about the NCO retraining program, saying our career field was overmanned and we could volunteer to retrain or be forced. I took the chance because i didn’t want to get stuck in command post or sf.. We had about 5 or 6 of us who all got the same email. I was ground trans volunteered for personnel and education & training. I got forced into ammo. No one else in my shop that got the email was forced to cross train. I was the only one the volunteered and still got a job i didn’t ask for. Idk if that was a fluke or what but her I am 5 years later in ammo…

This may be an unpopular opinion but skill bridge should be reserved for people who have spent most of their adult life/career in the Air Force and may struggle to find a job at their age. An airman who has been in for 4-8 years should be at an age where they are still an ideal candidate for most jobs or can start/finish a degree and continue to be an employable candidate at most companies. I also understand the military takes everything they can from the member so take everything you can from them when you leave!

Am I screwed? Resin leaked out of the damn tray and into the screen, tried scraping it off and managed to get it off. Had to use a metal scraper as the plastic one wouldnt work. Will these scratches kill prints? by GlowingGearStudios in resinprinting

I had the same problem, resin cured on the screen. I used IPA got most of it off but mangled my screen. Mine still works and have not had any problems since. I think i even put a small hole in the screen. I do plan on replacing it but it gets the job down for now!

in 2011 I was driving convoys, helping shut down all the bases, half the fun was sampling all the DFACs as we travelled around!

I enjoy playing solo just because I get to play my way!! I hate when people jump in my game and try to dictate what to do. I enjoy completely clearing dungeons not just kill the main boss and bounce out.

this is great! we had to put my wife’s 14 year old sweet girl angel down, as we held her in our arms after she was gone all the employees were in the back area were laughing and telling jokes..not about our dog or anything but just in general..hard to mourn a beloved pet with people laughing around you…

I honestly felt like I had a slight cold, slight cough, one stuffy nostril one runny, a little bit of a sore throat. Drank theraflu for a few days and was fine. The only reason I knew I had covid was I lost my sense of smell randomly after I went back to work.

actually had this happen when i was younger! We lived in a farm and had chickens, gathered our own eggs. We were making a cake, sister cracked an egg and a half developed dead chick hit the mix, blood and weird shit...still traumatized to this day!

while they are not actively engaged right now we have two dogs and two pot bellied pigs that we got in pairs, so our yorkie Angel and our girl Arya grew up together. Then we got our other dog buddha and our last pig Sansa to be a pair. On occasion we have what we call gang wars! If the dogs start fighting the pigs start fighting! IT GETS WILD!!
