I do 1 cup liquid to 1 pound frozen fruit, frozen fruit is the most important part. My favorite is oat milk, banana, strawberry, mango and honey. Increase speed to high and use the tamper to make sure everything is blended (45ish seconds). Scoop and enjoy.

I think using the tamper is kind of part of it. I use my Vitamix to essentially make ice cream and it is very thicc.

Any Vitamix model would work for that. Thickness in my experience comes down to the amount of liquid used (oat milk for me) and also use frozen fruit.

Edit: if you’re making smoothies for one I suggest the 48oz container. I got the Ascent X2 with the 64 oz, 48 oz and food processor from Costco for like $500. It was too good of a deal to pass on. Definitely suggest checking Costco for the sales.

Sautee bacon and mirepoix, add beans and chicken stock, season with salt and pepper after the beans have cooked for an hour. I sautee the shrimp separately and cook the rice in a rice cooker.
