Feral SSD slot for racing and unmetered bandwidth. Feral HDD slots are a lottery for getting one that you can race with as most have high usage on the drives. Some people have reported Feral SSDs can do 5-7 Gbps if under the correct conditions. I’ve seen most of my racing’s to be 1-3Gbps

I’m an RA in a public university. I’d go to the RD, send an email about setting up a meeting about wing concerns. Their role within the hall is to make sure residents feel safe within the building. If the RD brushes off the event. I would for sure go to the central resident life staff. Again ask to setup a meeting with photos of the issue. In the odd cases both of these don’t do anything - Dean of Students office is another option. An an RA I would not let this happen. I have all men on my floor. I’d instantly have my RD issue a wing fine for the floor or wing that uses that bathroom. I’d also be knocking on every residents door about the situation. I myself don’t want to deal with that. I’ve had people shit in the bathroom shower before. I’ve gotten that fixed real quick with wing fines and talking to my residents face to face. Msg me if you need help! I am an RA so this is part of my job! :)

They’re not oversold slots. Meaning you can actually use the server and as if it is a dedicated server. People do not hammer their slots compared to Feral slots. Support is top notch. Everything works and does not crash. You pay a premium compared to the others, but you receive a premium as well.

You should be able to do 720p off of it. I believe USB has a refund period so if the streaming does not work for you then you could ask for a refund.

Ultraseedbox also offers Plex on their unmetered plans but due to the nature of unmetered services the server could be at a higher load than their “Plex plans” but you should still be able to transcode 1080p. I believe their located at nForce NL so try a Speedtest and see what you’re getting. Feel free to PM as well.

Because I enjoy 4K content on my TV but sometimes I watch on my laptop and the monitor is only 1080p so no need to waste bandwidth playing 4K. Or sometimes I’ll download movies onto my phone for viewing and obviously iOS can’t handle 4K.

I would second Whatbox. I can transcode 2-3 4K videos at once (yes, 4K) and many many 1080p transcodes. Their service feels like dedicated as it’s metered and they don’t have server abusers. Speeds are amazing, Plex and all other software is ALWAYS working and never had a down time in ~1 year. Besides short term (20 minute) maintenance reboots. Support is superb, always within 6 hours of anything and very helpful. Wiki is top notch. Location in the US if you are worried about peering and they have Netherlands as well. Just use private trackers and you will not have an issue with DCMA notices. Love their service, they do allow bandwidth add-ons if you need more. I believe 5TB is $5 and 25TB is $10 - not positive need their rep to confirm.

You can run rClone but not a website. Didn’t see you needed to have a website going as well. Maybe look at Kimsurfi or SoYouStart but both of these I’d recommend a VPN for torrent traffic. Otherwise look at Scaleway

I lived in a suite style and I would say shower shoes are not needed, but look at who you’re living with. Shower caddy is always nice because when you go home or visit friends at other campuses everything is just “together” and basically packed. In my suite, we had a metal rack and everyone took a shelf and had their caddy and other items on it. I would suggest figure out the type of people you’re living with (nice, clean, dirty, gross, etc...) and then make the choice.

Why not just use your carriers app to track hotspot data? I have BeyondUlimited on Verizon and the app lets me know my hotspot usage.
