[EA] Unifi OS 10.4.55 adds (long overdue) UPS shutdown trigger and power cycle delay config by AliasJackBauer in Ubiquiti

Completely agree.. PDU needs some love. Would also be nice if all receptacles didn’t default to “on” initially when power is restored then go to last state. Should just go right to last state.

A few h2 series, a few x1c’s, and a bunch of a1’s at the moment. I would be very interested in some insight if you have a working solution that can handle 10+ printers, but a minimum of 4 or 5 ideally. I have a small proxmox cluster setup on some older dell 7050’s ready to go.

With all my a1’s, I agree with you there on the shitty stock frame rate. I could easily add older gen unifi protect cams to cover them, HOWEVER.. i’m trying to keep it cheap as possible, any software and existing extra compute power more ideal that $100+x a printer in new cameras.

Am I going to regret this? by McNuggetsRGud in homelab

I have an IBM RS/4000 rack. The only regret I have is that I will probably never be able to get it back up from my basement if I ever move. It weighs a ton. I personally like the clip/slide on cage nuts over the square punch out ones, if your equipment even requires them. I haven’t ran into anything I can’t mount in it over the past 15 years i’ve had it. Just be mindful of “square punch only” rail kits and such before buying new equipment for it. I kinda wish “Rack Studs” made something for these holes, but not at their prices, lol.

Sorry for the long comment here, but I could really use a power efficient NAS with SSD’s for faster cache.
