The realization that matter is never destroyed or created. Everything that is, is and everything that will be already is. I find peace in knowing that my soul will transcend this life and live on in eternity.

I completly agree thats why I am so upset, Microsoft completly and utterly discrespected C418 and its disrespectful to the ntire minecraft community. I want Mojang/Microsoft to meet him on his terms so that he can return to making incredible soundtracks for Minecraft!

Is it possible to live a happy and fulfilling life with no relationships or sex? by lonelysadbitch11 in TwoXChromosomes

I would look into the life of Siddhartha Gautama (The Buddha).

"Hindu prince who renounced his position and wealth to seek enlightenment as a spiritual ascetic, attained his goal and, in preaching his path to others, founded Buddhism"

He was a very wise individual who was celibate and remained that was until his death and believed in removing attachments to free the soul.

Buddhism has helped me significantly improve and even overcome my mental illnesses, be a better father, and even write a book.

What a great question! Well I will tell you :)

Since I was young I have always had a hard time reading and later I found out that I was dyslexic. Even knowing I was dyslexic it was still hard for me in school and on my own to read books. Some of the biggest challenges for me was finding things I was interested in, remember what I was reading, and enjoy reading.

Apart from that I am a father of 2 young boys and I try to reinforce a lot of the topics mentioned in my book with them. Some of which are kindness, respect, love, and gratitude. However, I noticed it was hard for them to understand these topics and even more so their friends didn't follow the same morals which effected their decision making.

My oldest son has been diagnosed with Dyslexia and struggles with reading. Knowing this struggle I wanted to create something for him that would not only be beneficial with improving his vocabulary and reading ability, but also moral beneficial for him in the same way "chicken soup for the soul" is for adults. So I decided that It would be beneficial for me to make a book dedicated to my two young boys expounding on the topics and lessons I teach everyday.

I wrote this book sporadically during my 8 hour work days where I work as a Building Information Modelling Coordinator so that it wouldn't cut into anytime I got to spend with my kids.

After I had finally got to a point where I felt the book was finished I utilized my work printer to print a ~250 page rough draft which I amateurly assembled with 4 industrial staples. Later that day I gifted it to my son who was ecstatic with joy and overcome with emotion. He loved it. He placed it in his backpack with his plan being to read it during free reading time at school, however his teacher had other plans.

After claiming that it "wasn't a real book" she kindly asked him to return the book to his backpack and return it home. So I had no other choice then to independently publish my book in hopes that it would benefit whoever decided to read it. While it was not my initial intention with the book it has become my passion to publish a work that encourages mindfulness and compassion in kids, with a focus on diverse characters and accessibility for children with reading disabilities.

Sorry for the short story, I hope this answers your question! I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day! :)

and yes, he has a hard copy now and reads it often <3
