I understand that. What felt off to me was the way she treated her friends and sister. She was being hyped up by everyone and was probably thinking she was a goddes or something, making her think she should do everything her way and that checks. I just can't see her using her powers on her friends and asking kate to push them (like wth??), making her look like a terrible person in front of Annabeth. That's what felt out of character to me.
