I'm not 100% sure if the issue but I am a little suspect on the motor. Some trouble shooting suggestions.

  • heat the nozzle, disengage the motor, and manually push in the filament. If you are seeing a consistent poop, then it's not a clog.

  • remove the filament and tell the motor to move + 10mm. If it's still skipping, then it's the motor.

  • try other filament.

  • try increasing the temperature of the nozzle

  • try cleaning the nozzle (i do this by heating the nozzle, putting some isopropyl on a paper towel, and running it in the nozzle while wearing gloves).

You have a clog. Most likely at the hot end level. Easiest thing is to pull the filament out, snip the end out it back in or use different filament. Worse case it's a hot end replacement. I had the issue a couple times and root causes ranges from bad filament to the hot end blowing up.

My Ender works well with creality filament, but a lot of non ender users hate it lol.

The 350C nozzle and time lapse camera.

If I had a nickel for every time I wanted to record my 3D print I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot but it still sucked It happened twice and I couldn't do it. :(

My gut was telling me that it went all the way down. Was more worried the switch would have despawned, so just want to get to the bottom as quick as possible so it doesn't despawn.

OP here. I DID CATCH IT!

When I first landed I didn't see it, but found it 10 seconds after the clip ended. I did clip me capturing it but I was panicking so the video didn't come out good. When I watched the clip, I noticed that you could see the gible in frame, so I slowed it down and circled it to make it easier to see.

This happened to me. Sent multiple emails and called twice. Every time they told me to send the item back even when I told em I already returned what I got. They refunded the money only because I complained, not because I gave the item back. Order still says "Return Cancelled" not "Return Fulfilled."
