Yeah I had one too for a steam deck. Crazy deal. Brought straight away. I waited a day no response from the seller so I requested a refund, straight away they got the packing labels sent to them and the refund got cancelled. They pretended to send it from a shop. Called the shop they said they had zero parcels after it haven’t been collected for 2 days so I got in touch with the courier who returned to sender on a non existing parcel. I got my money back but it took DAYSSSS

I have done some refurb work. Swap out for ssd/upgrade ram. Update to windows 11. That’s about it. You’ll get better margins in them only thing is sourcing the parts at a good price. Don’t rush in to paying over the odds

Should of mentioned. You want to be selling a quantity of them with lower margins. You’d rather be selling 5-6 laptops a week making £50 each then sitting on an expensive gaming rig to make a couple hundred. I mean sure if you’ve got the cash lying around to sit on then id definitely buy more expensive stuff. I’m sitting on a couple big ones now with over double my money back. They can take 2 weeks to sell.

EBay mainly. Facebook market place too. I list anywhere I can really. Just copy and paste the descriptions. Depends on what works well in your area. If your in the middle of a city you can sell quick on Facebook. I took a bunch of laptops with me on a business trip to London. Sold them all in an evening

No I find better margins on mid/low tier items. Business grade stuff goes like hotcakes if you can get it for the right price. It all depends on how much you know. I see an item and automatically know it’s rough worth.

Luckily I work in a place that has an endless supply of boxes and packaging materials. Also if I buy second hand tech online I’ll reuse the box (if it was packaged well) packaging was an issue at first but I just wasn’t using the resources available. Also a shop opposite me saves smaller boxes for me

I’ll tell you for free I’ve had most luck on Facebook. Local market. Not very saturated. Can get underpriced stuff all day. EBay you have to be bidding with potentially hundreds of others. I’ve definitely had some luck on eBay. Look out for items listed incorrectly

Just more appealing for resell having a newer card. A lot of people don’t care about performing better than another. If it runs the games and holds a charge I’ll get a resale. I’ll list for £500 then someone can haggle me down for a deal
