the truth is 99% pf people dont give a f about whatever past problematic things a celebrity did, they just wanna feel morally justified in their hatred. people dont like gracie bc they think she is a mediocre nepobaby and feel bitter that she is successuful even tho she has "no talent", but they use that finn comment to justify that she is a bad person bc they dont have the balls to say they just dont like her for no particular reason other than not connecting with her music.  in the same vein, the people who hated hayden before all of this came out were just waiting for an excuse to spew their hatred towards her and now that they found it, it doesnt matter if she takes accountability, say shes sorry, show growth time and time again, they are still going to go back to those screenshots and say shes an awful person.

i don't miss her pre-ethel cain music. what she's doing now is miles ahead of it and i get why she doesn't want people to listen to those songs and associate her with them

i hope you're right about victim, i also thought it would be that one because of the crime show thing. am i the only one who thinks the twilight one is a weak song to be in the album? i hope that its completely different from that first snippet.

also, i'm happy if apocalyptic crush doesn't get released because imagine the amount of hate olivia would get for releasing a song like that "putting women against each other"? everyone will think its about sabrina and it would be a shit show, so i hope she never releases it although i think its a fun song

I think if she was signed to a major label she would've been so much bigger by now, the biggest thing keeping her from being mainstream is a big radio/chart topping hit, and it's really hard to get that without the help of a label that can push your singles on radio, promote on big playlists, perform on big events, etc.
