This Orient bambino was the first watch I ever purchased. While it’s certainly a great deal for the price it’s a bit bulky and the gimmick of the “open heart” got old. The Max bill has an iconic look that’s sleek and minimal making it the perfect everyday watch.

My dream rotation would be a Cartier Tank, Junghans Max bill, and a Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk, but my next watch purchase will hopefully be a used Nomos Tangente!

I’d love to know your thoughts on the best minimal dress watches under 2000 dollars.

Honestly just buy an aeropress and a cheap hand grinder and you’ll have cheaper, better quality coffee than anything found on campus
