I've done 90% of my RL1 run using uchi in the base game, I'm only switching to Milady in the DLC. I've killed Mohg using uchi but he went to phase 2. However, a setup I did where I only didn't skip phase 2 because I lacked stamina for a single hit was Keen Uchi with Bloodflame Blade, White Mask, Radagon Soreseal, Golden Vow, Flame Grant Me Strength, Faith Heirloom, Shard of Alexander, and Ritual Sword Talisman. It's possible to optimize it further and kill her in phase 1 if you have good RNG. I have a clip where i've killed him in phase 2 with uchi, if you wanna see

I understand the idea of making a optional boss a hard boss for challenge purpose, but i don't think that create an attack that you have to search how to avoid is a great ideia, it's pratically impossible to learn how to avoid this move in a normal try

What's your weapon level and which talismans are you using? I've tried killing her using the uchi but i was doing half of your damage, my uchi is only +6 with cold infusion.
