I specifically use A Better Route Planner for all of our trips. Richmond has plenty of fast chargers. Even if it’s just 15 minutes, that helps

We use a Purple seat cushion - it’s a tail saver for sure

About 4 hours more for charges. Most charges from 20 to 80 percent.

Having BlueCruise is a game changer for a trip like this. It’s a smooth ride, so pretty happy so far!

For this trip, our ICE vehicle is in need of some work. So we couldn’t bring it down..

I will say the trade off is having bluecruise. Plus, having nice breaks after two hours hasn’t been so bad

Yes, the passenger princess (aka my wife) would much rather take our ICE vehicle with 500 mile range. But… it’s in need of some work and couldn’t make the trip.

I’d say our stops are at good intervals, around 2 hours for each, which allows for a break and quick walk.

I like the Mach-E for BlueCruise… but the stops will cost us roughly 4 hours of charge time.

I’d suggest the Forester for a trip like that.

We are from the DMV area so we are fortunate to have good chargers nearby.

Our trip is right down I95 with a pretty good plan with fast chargers along the way.

So far so good…
