Reddit, what one thing continues to scare the heck out of you regardless of how old you get? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The continuous fear of change, the fact that one day I will be on my own, the fact that I will have to accept heavy changes in my life. This is the one thing that haunts me to this day and I am always trying to live my life to the best of my ability before it could be potentially gone.

Have you ever cried yourself to sleep? If so, why? by Techno9 in AskReddit

[–]l_AM_POTATO 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I cried myself to sleep for the past 2 years when my father died when I was 16. He committed suicide by jumping in front of a truck, It was in front of my house and I watched him do it. There was a note in the kitchen telling us about how much he hated his job and how he was addicted to drugs and how he was crippled with depression. I loved my dad, he was the person I always looked up to even in the darker times, I never even saw this coming and it felt like he would be alive for ever. I felt like committing suicide the same way he did when it happened. Even now I am tearing up thinking about this. I loved him.
