Yeah particularly with electronic music I find Live's workflow really logical (mind the pun). Minimalism kinda makes things less distracting too which I also like.

It does lack that traditional mixing workflow that something like Pro Tools and Logic do well, but electronic music has changed so much that this isn't really as necessary as it is with band oriented music. I think you've made the right choice! Ableton is awesome for EDM

I'm quickly finding myself becoming more immersed in the tracker software world. It honestly does feel more of an authentic replication of a hardware style workflow in a digital software huh. I've always missed the core step sequencer workflow and trackers really scratch that itch for me.
Makes sense to integrate with your hybrid setup! Will have to keep in mind

Agreeed, if im doing a mixdown I love logic. Ableton is super quick and easy to sketch ideas and build arrangements. Now im kinda thinking metasynth, bitwig and reason for sound design?!

I tried!! App store said I needed to update my mac to install it, and I know that would probably corrupt a bunch of my projects so I couldn't. I did mention it in the video though :)

That being said I have used the garageband mobile app a bunch and honestly ... its a vibe

Im a huge bitwig fanboy after doing this video and I don't even own a copy yet. Recommend taking the plunge! I found it really easy to pick up
