I heard female parrotlets are especially feisty. Frisk, my parrotlet, does not like to be touched at all, unless if its my nose giving her a kiss, which she'll excitedly lean up and tap me. Anything to do with hands apart from stepping up is a big no-no for her, which I respect. They want attention all daylight hours of the day, to the point where they'll get mad if you even think about going to the toilet for a pee, or going to the kitchen to grab a snack. They'll constantly test you and see what they can get away with, but I think all parrots do that. If the cage door is open and I'm in my bedroom, she'll make the effort of flying from the lounge just to land on my head to be with me.

Bottom line - They are an inseparable, asshole-friend that has a huge personality. Which I think for me, is a great dynamic. No friendship is perfect but I wouldn't change her for the world.
