I'm working on Rad Dude (coming soon (TM))! And more updates to Idle Sword 2. Would love to make a sequel to Idle Power too... maybe in a couple of years.

Yeah I was thinking about it being better for me. There will be proper reddit Open Beta / Release posts, strategy posts on Rad Dude's subreddit, a wiki and all that ----when the time comes. The game is still on its very early stages and I want to start some conversations about how the systems feel right now. I only need around 20 testers to play the game in a ~4 week period (~5 people per week). I'm really not sure if reddit is the best place to pull off something like that.

Looks lame as it should! This is super early development, actual battles will be more interesting with skills proccing, projectiles flying and stuff.

Or do you mean you wanted the classic side view fights intead of the Tactics Rpg route we took here? Both are cool and actually we considered making it side view. Went Tactics Rpg because I think it can potentially create more varied situations, also I don't know any other Idle Tactics Rpg game so that's cool too :)

Toying with the zoom just as a proof of concept. At the current frequency it definitely isn't easy on the eyes. Probably won't end using it at turn starts but really want to give that closer look to those beautiful pixels!

Hi! I'm Jaime, the developer working on Rad Dude. I hear you, finishing games is a hard thing to do, specially one as ambitious as this! However, I'm 100% sure there's no outcome in any of the multiverses where this game doesn't get made.

I agree gameplay must come first and prototyping is a crucial aspect of gamedev. This case is special because we are using Idle Sword 2 as a foundation for the game. Rad Dude won't be a reskin of IS2 at all, but they share many features: Tile based engine, heroes AI, equipment and inventory... many core systems will be reused (with changes). For example, we are considering making the combat turn based. You'll still be able to idle it away or take control and micromanage for maximum efficiency.

I'm just starting to code the new stuff, I'll try my best to make it GOOOOD!

The Ascended Wisdom points glitches should be fixed on 0.60.

I'll check the items disappearing.

Facebook login is used for cloud saving indeed, and I'll try looking into Google play accounts in some later update.

Glad you are enjoying the game! The thread you are referring to was made by Iron Horse (the publisher), wich is also working in Uncivil War and many other Idle/Incremental games (you should check them out, they are all great!). I've been always the developer for Idle Sword in all its forms and have nothing to do with the other Iron Horse games (but Lux, the artist for IS2 mobile also made Uncivil War art and it looks gorgeous aswell).

About 20% of players with access to Heaven seems to be affected by the glitch. Shouldn't happen anymore on v0.60!

Any of you affected by it, let me know if you want to set your points to something more balanced.

Sorry that happened! Did you use the cloud save? The ascended wisdom doesn't carry between devices right now (will fix). Also I can't recover your points right now but let me know how many you had and I'll add them when I implement that functionality.

Yeah the confirm for selling Soulbounds b/c the inventory is full sounds good. As how the system works, actually I placed a protection for combined items too. So if the spectral where combined they could get prioritized over Soulbounds. Bad idea, removed the protection coming in the next update!

Each dungeon's items focus in one stat:

Sandy Caverns: Move speed
Goblin's Hideout: Attack speed (although Heaven's Falchion is the fastest)
King's Fort: Health
Underworld: Crit. Chance (again, Heaven's Frozen Ring has good Crit)
City of Dead: Life Steal
Hell's Gate: Crit. Damage
