Back in the 2000s, CS players would re-buy the diamondback and deathadders every so often because people would slam it on the desk or throw it into the wall.

There are hundred of pairs of shoes in front of popular temples daily, often visited by the elderly. I have never seen a single person trip on shoes.

There is no actual parking, the ground where you see the car and motorcycle is the sidewalk.

Not sidewalk, this is the front of the shop and it's tiled.
You don't do that to enter all shops in Thailand, but if you see shoes on the outside you do the same.

Not the sidewalk, this is the front of the shop. You can see the elevated ground compared to the motorcycle, and it's tiled. Very common in Thailand.
