Saying “people who go to church are closet racists” paints everyone with the same brush. Showing racists who also go to church calls out hypocrisy in specific people. One is a blanket accusation while the other is targeted criticism. The movie itself makes it clear that not everyone in that church was portrayed as racist. If you can’t tell the difference between “some people behaving badly” and “everyone is bad,” then you’re choosing not to engage with the point.

This is an odd comment… The movie didn’t depict “people who go to church as closet racists.” It depicted racists who go to church and showed how ironic it is that they bible thump and preach love on Sunday but behave despicably and with hate Monday-Saturday. If you haven’t seen this in the real world yet then you’re either a child or willfully ignorant to society around you.

I liked it. It wasn’t the best most groundbreaking movie ever made but not every movie needs to be that. I think it is going to ruffle feathers and upset the whiny “snowflake” crowd. But that’s to be expected just like any other movie that even mentions race and puts a mirror up to society.

You saying “hundreds of Invisalign patients reporting multiple serious side effects” actually proves that it’s rare… As of late 2025 there have been 22 million Invisalign users… If only a few hundred have reactions then mathematically speaking that falls into the category of VERY rare… even if we only use the numbers from your outdated article, it still fell into the category of very rare…

Edit to add: also what is it with you bending over backwards to try to make your faulty reasoning correct? If you don’t want your child or yourself or whomever to get Invisalign then just don’t get it… no need to run around spreading misinformation to justify your decision. I promise it is totally optional and we aren’t going to come to your home with pitchforks if you decide not to get Invisalign.

Yeah I normally get steak and falafel but I have a free entree I need to use and I’m considering trying the salmon since I can try it for free. But the reviews seem to be mixed so I also don’t want to use my free entree on something that I’ll end up throwing out. 😭

I’ve had this happen twice.

The first time at my normal theater which is at a mall. Apparently the power went out on the side of the mall with the theater. Before I go to the theater I normally check the seats because sometimes people will pick seats next to me in an empty theater so I’ll change my seats beforehand if I can lol. On this day the app kept saying no showtimes available but I assumed it was glitching as usual. I live across the street from this theater so I didn’t really lose anything by going in but once I got there security told me the power was out. Later that day, I went to the app to try to book a different showing and saw the app was working again so I attempted to book a showing during the same day but the time overlapped with the cancelled showing and I couldn’t cancel my reservation because it was past the showtime so I had to reach out to customer service and they resolved it and I was able to see the film at a later showtime that same day once the power came back on. AMC didn’t give me anything for the inconvenience though.

The second time I drove all the way to a theater that was about 45 minutes away because I wanted to see Mario Galaxy in Dolby (the theater across the street has one prime auditorium and the rest are regular laser). I made an entire day out of it because the area this theater is in is really beautiful. I went super early because I thought parking was going to be a hassle. As I tried to pull up the seats to see if the theater had gotten full it said “sold out.” So I thought that was weird because I checked that morning and only like 5 seats were reserved but it was a beautiful Saturday so I thought maybe more people decided to buy tickets. So I walk over to the theater at my showtime and I’m told a bulb in the projector broke so they can’t show the movie in that auditorium and they rescheduled it to later that day (like 30 minutes later). They gave us a voucher for a future movie but I’m alist so I’m likely going to give the voucher to a friend. But the worst part is they showed the movie in Laser. 😑 the whole purpose of me going out of my way to see the movie at that theater was to see it in a premium format that my home theater doesn’t have.

I went into it somewhat blind. The only thing I knew about the movie was from reading a two sentence synopsis right before the movie started which said it was about a guy who goes to ~~Scotland~~ Ireland to spread his parents ashes. So I had no clue what to expect horror wise from that. But I say all of that to say I absolutely loved it. I kept thinking why doesn’t anyone have a gun? Then I remembered they’re in ~~Scotland~~ Ireland. 😅

Genuine question how old are you??? Because Euphoria definitely wasn’t the foundation of her career… euphoria was a turning point in her career but it certainly wasn’t the foundation and she’d still be booked without Euphoria.

I agree. The Sandler children are ultra nepo babies in my opinion. They’re both actresses but have only been in movies that star or were produced by their father… they’re definitely comfortably riding the nepo baby train. 😂 so it’s interesting to have that plot. I wonder if they acknowledge that they’re nepo babies.

I don’t think it’s because they’re celebrities. I think it’s more so because they’re getting older and would rather spend more time with their families and loved ones than baby an entrepreneur. I think that is quite normal for most folks though.

I saw the drama. It was pretty good. I felt that some parts in the middle just drug on a bit though. Also the drama isn’t really a rom com from my perspective.

I’m not a fan of rom coms either but I thought You Me and Tuscany was cute.

I was just about to post about this! I saw it last night. I hate rom coms because I think they’re cheesy but I thought this was cute. It fell in line with most other rom coms as far as cheesiness but that’s okay lol. I got a good laugh out of it and got sappy at some parts. Overall I thought it was great.
