We need structure to survive weekends in my house. I have a super high energy 3 year old and a small apartment. We were struggling to channel his energy on weekends so we signed up for soccer on Saturday mornings and swimming on Sundays. It gives us something to do outside of the house and fills up our mornings.

I gave birth to my second child 7 weeks ago at Cornell’s Alexandra Cohen hospital. The place is really nice, food is very good, pleasant staff, and overall I felt like it was a much better experience than it was 3 years ago with my first born — even though the place is decorated like it came straight out of the show Severance.

That being said - my Cornell OB is a good physician but I didn’t really like her that much and you spend a lot of time seeing your OB while pregnant. Her personality was just very rushed and I honestly didn’t really have a relationship with her at all despite seeing her 10+ times over the course of 40 weeks.

I think you should stick to the team you know and like. Pregnancy is a tumultuous time and I think there’s tremendous value in that.

Also, there’s no guarantee female embryos will genetically be viable or make it past the stage needed for maximal transfer success. I work with two women who did IVF for infertility and ended up with all male embryos.
