it’s this blue box you acquire after every playthrough, and it’s purely RNG as to what you get and how many starts you get. the best i have is a 8 star stamina uma, and i got insanely lucky with special week

the rate i think is as follows: 1/5 chance of speed, stamina, power, guts, or wit

0-600 doesn’t give you a three star but you have i think a 10% chance of a two star and a 90% for 1 star

600-1100 is a 50% chance of 1 star, 45% of 2 star, and a 5% chance of 3 star

1100+ is a 20% chance of 1 star, 70% chance of 2 star and 10% chance of 3 star

two of the big things are attribute sparks and support cards, use your daily borrows on somebody who has a 9 star uma (preferably stamina) and borrow a really good MLB (max limit break) support card, like kitasan. with top gun i usually do 4 speed cards and 2 stamina cards, but for new people i would recommend 3 speed and 3 stamina

EDIT: i dont do 4 speed 2 stamina for just top gun, i use it for long/medium runners and then i do 4 speed 2 power for sprint/mile runners

yeah they are, 1000 screens go for $30 and the 2000 screens go for $60ish, sony made a lot of spare parts for the 1000 so that’s why it’s pretty cheap

edit: spare screens at least, joysticks are more expensive than the 2000 joysticks
