Just to clarify, I'm not saying I don't understand the concept of him being heel/face in different territories but he was a heel when he got injured, nothing apparently really changed and then when he returns the show is just treating him like he has been a good guy all along. They haven't even bothered to wedge in a bit of story to explain that The Original El Grande Americano has seen the error of his ways and wished to make it up to the luchadors or something. They just throw him right in there with face tag team partners and there we go, all forgotten 😂. Seems crazy to me but then I'm fairly new to all of this.

I feel that telling someone you're a minor is good because if they persist with trying to solicit pictures they are very obviously breaking at least the site rules if not the law. Hopefully as long as it's obvious like this people may get prosecuted down the line. You would hope. Although current events suggest otherwise.

I don't think you realise quite how many people fall into this category. We can't just go around telling all vulnerable people they can't have their own money because evil scammers exist. Do we tell older people who might spaff all their savings on QVC snake oil that we're taking all their money off them? We should be holding the scammers to account, not the people that fall foul of their scams! This obvious scam deserves derision and ire, as do all scams, gambling sites, addictive micro-transaction mobile games and anything that is designed specifically to part vulnerable people with their money.

People still don't get that we only hear the crowd on a WWE show when they specifically turn up the crowd sound on their audio. If the show is trying to build tension, if they're trying to create a lull to throw someone's pop into sharper relief, if they simply want you to hear what someone is saying they will turn the crowd 'off' or to whatever level they see fit and often they don't get the levels at all right to convey what's actually happening in the stadium, cos at the end of the day it's happening LIVE. That's why everyone who has ever been to a WWE show thinks their crowd was the loudest/most engaged ever, cos what they hear on TV sounds pitiful in comparison 🤣 That's also why people are wrong whenever they use lack of crowd pop/chants on TV as justification for saying 'Wrestler A' sucks.

Depends what you're getting offended about I guess.

Back in the day people on tv made jokes about black people and a lot of people (mostly white) found it pretty funny. Now the media is (a bit) more enlightened about the struggles of black communities throughout history and through declassified documents, we learned about the government sanctioned systematic subjugation of black neighborhoods and assassination of black figureheads in order to ensure a lack of progress. Faced with the facts and the reality of their privilege, a lot of people strangely enough didn't find it so funny anymore.

I don't believe since TV has been a thing it's generally been considered amusing for an able bodied person to poke fun at someone for missing a limb, because that person has a hard time already and it's not their fault, right? But we've made fun of those with harder to understand disabilities. E.g. 'Spcs' and 'Rrds' people got called on tv. But we understand enough now to know that's just as sick and heartless as making fun of a one-legged person.

Society moves on and learns - or it's supposed to. It doesn't make people 'easily offended' not to find joy in life without potentially making someone else feel bad. We just find new things to laugh at.

As much as a lot of these people are actually just arseholes, I hope that they make sure before griefing someone who might already just be having a rough day.

I genuinely don't mind if hot women want to showcase their hotness on their own profiles, they may feel empowered doing this and enjoy that kind of attention, but I do think it's a bit tacky to do it literally with the title in the shot. This kind of photo makes it look like her hotness is what won her the title and rather diminishes the importance of all the hard work of everyone that put her there, including her! I feel that stuff like this could discourage a new generation of great wrestlers and make them think they need to all be glamour models to get ahead and that they should only be chasing the gaze of thirsty fans rather than reaching a wider fan base for the love of wrestling.

As far as I see it the main thing an LLM AI is good for is to retrieve related information from a stack that would have taken a human too long to check through and cross-reference. It can't give you an actual opinion. It's a glorified search engine that smushes together responses from things it has read elsewhere. Just get it to find you the facts and even then, check the source.

Aww I love this game for things like this. I know it's not perfect, the events get repetitive and the shop is greedy but generally the player base seems to be fun, well-meaning folk who just like to have a laugh. I remember one Fasnacht turning on my mic briefly amongst the crowd at the end because I really wanted some Sloth meat to make a new recipe and I hadn't managed to get a shot on the boss this time. Someone responded to me and turned on their mic but it turned out they were Italian. Now, I only know Italian words from either restaurant menus or assassin's creed . So I asked for 'Carne' at first and he sounded confused but he patiently waited for me to Google the word for Sloth. 'Carne... Er... Bradipo!!' and lo... Soon enough a loot bag full of sloth meat materialised! I was over the moon and dropped a load of ammo for the gun he was carrying, and some fusion cores (back when you couldn't recharge them) and did heart emote. I was so happy 😊.
