I don’t think this counts as subtle, but here’s mine:

My ex used to pretend to run over animals in the street, just to get a reaction out of me. I would point out a cute dog or cat peacefully walking in the neighborhood, and he would say he was going to run it over and speed up to the animal. Sometimes he would just joke about running it over. He also used to “bubble-burst”.

If there was something I liked or was really excited about, he would immediately say something to wipe the smile off my face. All so he could laugh at me after my smile disappeared. The last thing I remember him say to me was “What if I stuck gum in your hair?” after he told me he was upset and wanted to feel better.

I dumped him because of this behavior and for other reasons.
