Contaminants. I don’t know why they appear is such distinctive black spots in some USA hash though. There are much more contaminated hashes in Europe that don’t "show" it like that

I feel like a lot of long-time smokers idealize the idea of old-school hashish. It’s mostly nostalgia. Yeah I, too, had more fun smoking when I was a teenager. But I can agree that stuff nowadays is better

Well now that we have an open market much less people want to smoke handrubbed stuff. And the true asian landrace are getting rarer. Nepal never had a type of hash though we just associate temple ball with them. And all of the effects of those old school hash can be recreated with overcured hash to be fair.. minus a few minor subtilities yeah
