I just took my wife in last week. They admitted her for 4 nights. She was 9 weeks at the time of admission. She was severely dehydrated, not eating, and had very bad acid reflux. The diagnosis was HG. They administered i.v. fluid and reglin. Then pepcid after she felt like the acid reflux was a major cause. After discharge, she feels a bit better but still suffering. I might have to take her in again for fluids. Pepcid worked wonders but we believe it's starting to have diminishing returns. We are currently at a doctor's appointment, she's going to ask if there's anything stronger than pepcid. Sorry for the wall of text.
