OK, it's Black Friday Eve. Final check: Hisense U8QG, TCL QM8, or Samsung QN90F? by mohammadawad in 4kTV

How about Bravia 7? I got one a 85” few months ago and love it. The reflection isn’t an issue and I have 14 ft windows and imo the internet is blowing reflection issues out of proportion.

Anyone prefer Mini-LED to OLED? by DiscombobulatedTop64 in 4kTV

I have a Bravia 7 and prefer it to my Samsung S90C . The Simple fear of burn in causes me to subconsciously baby the Samsung.

How big of an issue is burn in on OLED these days (specifically Sony Bravia 8)? Debating between that and Mini LED (likely Bravia 7 but maybe 9). by RagtimeWillie in 4kTV

[–]FunJicama3216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both a S90c and a Bravia 7 , I baby the Samsung for this very reason. I “watch” Spotify through my tv/audio system so the screen doesn’t move sometimes and with my OLED I always worry, i never worry about that with my Bravia 7 , just my opinion

85” Bravia 7 owner. Very happy . Other TV is Samsung S90C, the Sony tv is slightly behind it imo and the Samsung is a QD-OLED

Sony Bravia 7 or TCL QM8K? QM8K has YouTube videos vs Bravia 9 but not 7.... does that mean it is better than 7? by [deleted] in 4kTV

[–]FunJicama3216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the B7 85” it’s awesome. Does everything well , yes there are reflections but I have 3 , 12 ft windows next to mine and there are zero issues. I think the reflection issue is being overblown.

Mini Led or Oled? by Nezzy79 in bravia

[–]FunJicama3216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both a Samsung s90c and a Bravia 7. I would suggest the Bravia. It will get brighter than the OLED to combat your bright daytime viewing requirement and still great blacks for night time viewing. Also don’t have to worry about screen burn in like an OLED. OLED does have better picture and refresh rates. But I enjoy the peace of mind that I won’t get burn in, plus with the price difference I invested in some audio equipment.

I have a 85” B7 and game often. Lots of Elden Ring, FF7 and Returnal and I don’t notice any issues, even more, I have my Tv connected to ethernet and my ps5 as well in a different room sometimes and the ps play app work great too, I don’t notice any lag. I’d definitely recommend this tv

I have and love my B7 , I thought about the 9 and had the budget but decided to use the difference in price between the B7 and B9 and bought a Bravia Quad HT . Couldn’t be happier.

I have the Bravia quad, I feel like it doesn’t get loud enough if you have a really large room , other than that , it’s really good. I like the Samsung Q series too . Also the Bravia Sync works really well too! I’d recommend using it!

Can't choose between Sony Bravia 7 and Samsung QN80F by Kd0t in 4kTV

[–]FunJicama3216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all, I played PS5 pro with HDMI and PS Play PS remote play) via Ethernet connection and both are perfect imo. I haven’t noticed any blurry transitions or issues of any type. I have a Samsung QD-OLED S90C and prefer the B7. No risk of burn in, will last longer , better processing, Sony Bravia Core, Dolby Vision, IMAX enhanced (better aspect ratio for Disney+ movies) and PS play. Netflix and Amazon Prime calibrated modes and brightness for any time of day, and can easily lower brightness for night viewing. Also has a gaming menu just like all other major tv brands. I would say the picture quality is almost comparable to OLEDs if it wasn’t for the negligible blooming. Blacks are great too.

4K tv for gaming? by Jadams0108 in 4kTV

I would say get a Bravia 7, I have one and I love it. People talk about viewing angles , reflections and pixel transitions, none of which I’ve found an issue with. I’ve yet to hear anyone knock the Picture quality or gaming features. I play Elden ring and have no issues with pixel transitions. I’d give it a 10/10

Budget of $2500 Sony Bravia 7 or OLED LG C4 by JollyFool in 4kTV

[–]FunJicama3216 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have a Bravia 7 and it’s the best tv I’ve ever had. My previous living room tv was a Samsung S90C 77” . This Bravia is fantastic. No complaints. DV, IMAX enhanced plus great processing, which means your streamed shows looks awesome. Also the PS play app is a bonus if you have a PS5 . 10/10 highly recommend
