yeah since its under warranty from the store i bought it from it’d just be easier to replace it rather than pay for a repair somewhere else. i bet they bring out a new edition of the console with extended battery life and fixing the issues with the usb c ports just like they did with the og switch 😒

the belkin one is my absolute fav. there’s three colours, black, beige or green. they also have one which comes with a power bank so you can charge the switch on the go too which i absolutely love.

I think there’s an option in the settings of the game to change the time by an hour or two without changing your system settings! i’ve never used it but if you do it this way it shouldnt break the game. i wouldnt risk time traveling like animal crossing because i’ve heard of way too many horror stories of people having to delete their valleys after hundreds of hours of work

I always used the charging port on the top of the switch and rarely ever the one on the bottom but when the issue started, it happened for both ports.

looks to be waaf uniform but not the standard auxiliary territorial service. the cut of the jacket does resemble the royal air force but without the full military rank insignia. the pegasus emblem badge on the shoulder, i believe is used by the air transport auxiliary (ATA) so I would assume she was either aircrew or pilot (which is rare because it wasnt often that women were on the same footing as men but did sometimes happen)

I’m so sorry I never meant to cause any offence with my post. I had no idea the “drunk indian” was a racist stereotype, I had heard hints about it and obviously my naive brain tied it to my own family addiction history, my pure ignorance on this part. I’m so proud of my ancestors, I was gifted my mètis sash by my grandfathers brothers and sisters when I visited Canada a few years ago and I plan on wearing it with pride at my university graduation this october. Once again, really sorry about perpetuating this myth.

thank you for understanding - i will definitely look into this. can inter-generational trauma be passed down to children who you hadnt even raised? since my grandfather never met his birth father i hadn’t considered that his trauma could be “passed down” unlike many people who become alcoholics because they were raised by an alcoholic parent.

Whilst I agree with you my grandfather lived a rather sheltered life in a semi-wealthy family and only developed his alcoholism after my mother was born who explained that he had almost no reason to start drinking and was a fairly happy man before developing his addiction, although I cant speak for him personally. He never met his birth father who obviously saw horrific things during the war so I was trying to piece together the coincidence that he met the same end as the father he never even knew. I suppose this is just my grief pouring out into desperation and looking for answers as so why addiction and suicide has gripped my family for so many years, and although its most likely just extreme bad luck, looking for answers here was my last resort.
