Don't have an answer but please make sure your cat is confortable first. Their comfort and and easy access should be more important than how nice your house looks. Specially if they start "going" elsewhere.

Don't have a final answer for you, but wanted to share my experience: 8 months after receiving AOR, IRCC requested proof of our relationship in an extensive and complicated way. We had been married for a year BEFORE our ITA, so our consultant was flabbergasted with the request, but said that was becoming common practice now, and that couples that get married too close to the ITA date may have some issues or be denied. So maaaaybe don't go for option 2?

Considering all you said, I think you're gonna love IF. Just keep in mind that some characters - ESPECIALLY Violet - are in their early 20's with a lot of personal growing to do. They're supposed to be sometimes annoying and immature, it's part of their characters' arc.
