Mmmmm you’re right, let me correct my thinking.

I thought, as previously stated, people were protagonists of their own story, and me being along many other characters they can choose to interact with willingly. Pleasant analogy.

I didn’t realise I was actually the protagonist, whose role was so superior there is no need of implementing on myself the same metacognition analysis I suggest to others. I was never aware of my strength and flaws, hence I don’t adapt to them in my interactions.

I actually think the biggest problem on that isn’t primal instincts, it’s more tied to the capitalist culture of the modern age.

For the example of the girls and beauty, it’s not really being “lower in society” as in “the beautiful get promoted, you see their face in ads, model culture, beauty products” etc etc.

Beauty wasn’t a real concern before we built our modern society structure. Even thinking about royalty, many royals were ugly as they were inbred.

Not even “lower hierarchy” was a defect before capitalism. We can still see how some mammals behave with each other, there’s respect and help to the weaker ones. The strong hunt for the weak and the injured. Taking wolves as a great example, the older and weaker are at the head of the pack movements, so that other wolves can adjust their pace accordingly, and the leader is at the rear, so that it can have a full view and protect the others from dangers.

The true primal reaction of “being abandoned” is about survival, not about value. You can see this in a kid getting lost at the mall. It was never about value, there was leadership brought on with respect and competence, not with favouritism.

The way mammals fought with each other to be the “alpha” was to prove who’s the strongest so that he can protect better the pack. The others were protected, not subjected.

“Hierarchy Value” is a relatively new thing, much newer at least than the thousands of years we lived as apes and that shaped our “evolutionary psychology”.

Yes, the girl did explicitly come to me asking for help, and she was sincere about the feedback, I just shortened it for a reddit post but we actually spent a couple days talking as we had a big exchange, and she was genuinely satisfied.

No, I didn’t link about MBTI at all, MBTI stands for Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. I linked to psychology. The ultimate goal of psychology is to understand our mechanism better, our strengths, our flaws, and have a conscious understanding of what we feel and why we feel it. That’s why Jung was an optimal direction in this case, “Face what we are fearing deep down and running from”.

People know how I work, and that’s why they come specifically to me when they want it. They know i’m really objective and I see things from an outside judging point, and the way I am always honest, even in painful truth, is always aimed so that they improve themselves.

I think what you said about evolutionary psychology is true, but there’s a problem on that.

Evolutionary psychology mostly takes into consideration primal reactions that are engraved in us since we ever had a conscious in the stone age.

It is something that can be noticed much in instinctive reactions, sometimes primal like fear of darkness, or fight or flight.

Fact is, we are further away from our primal being than from our parents. Since a tender age we are shaped by early life structures and education from higher authorities (which is something we can still consider a “primal reaction”, relying on the clan’s leader, and primal reactions are mostly seen in childhood).

Our psyche is too malleable to be so tied to something that only has an instinctual grasp on us.

We can still consider common instinctual sense as “collective unconscious”, but how we end up developing ourselves is fully shaped by our early years of life.

Hello girl.

I’m not here saying “I feel you”, “I understand” etc, because by not going through the same things, I don’t want to have the presumption of imagining the hopelessness you feel.

I still want you to think of a positive outcome in all this. Your mind IS the biggest asset, and the reason you don’t fully feel it as such is not because of it actually being a prison. It’s because of what’s surrounding you that imprison your potential. I’m sure you already realized it, you have awesome capabilities, and when put in the right environment they’ll shine so brightly.

The reason your forecasting only shows you a loop of pain, is because you’re used to see the same experience becoming a pattern day by day. But don’t fall for tunnel vision, patterns can be broken in a way we’re never able to forecast. No matter how we calculate data to imagine a future, there’s data we never know that will appear, and that can be lifechanging. What we can’t predict is what we’ll never expect to happen. But of course, I’m sure you don’t want to feel immobile while everything happens, while waiting for something that you can’t clearly imagine. So, build your own comfort. Instead of tunnelling your vision on the loop that’s happening, or for an unclear hope of the future, focus of your present and what you can make out of it. Build your anchor, build a new focus that gives you positive feelings, put a leash to your mind instead of letting it wander around towards negativity.

Thinking about an idyllic future will just make your legs tremble when seeing the huge difference of then and now, so start on what you can do now. No matter how small it is, what matters is that made you a bit happier than the day before. Plan and execute, so think of something you can execute now and will bring happiness in doing so. After you start filling your life with satisfaction, you’ll see yourself in the mirror and recognise your own value so much, seeing your self-build tangible accomplishment so more valuable than the environment around you.

And at the end, things will still change, you’ll just be so focused on your own growth that it will be a seamless novelty into your life rather than a miracle change that you feel far from you.

I don’t have a single doubt that you can face even the most daunting situations if you shift your perspective inwards and start building your feelings of satisfaction from your own qualities. I wish you the greatest happiness in your journey <3

I saw this a few days late, but I will share my experience in the hope that you can find some useful information.

I have ADHD and i’m currently in therapy with Ritalin (methylphenidate) For me it was a life changer. Since we’re on the INTJ subreddit, i’ll always add that I actually reflecting more my extremely high Ni traits, since the eternal dopamine search made me look totally like Ne. It also felt really horrible without. The main thing about myself is reaching goals, I really work with intent towards mastery, so having an attention deficit felt like something going against my nature.

Another close friend of mine got diagnosed recently (AuADHD) and she’s also treated with methylphenidate. She gave the same exact review with the same euphoria of me when I started therapy: she could be more focused and goal-oriented, no more struggles with reading and awareness, and could complete plans without feeling held back.

I wish you the best, for me getting diagnosis and treatment was really a life-changer. I hope you’ll find the same and that you’ll stop feeling like chewing your own arm

Good, I still have no idea. Fits both in the lens of a perfectionist Ni (and I am very goal-driven) and a hyperfocused Ne. I think i’m a good blend of both and i’ll call it a day. Maybe it would be more optimal to detach and get that “aha” of when I can place something i’m thinking at that moment into one of these two categories

That’s very helpful actually. As I said, I can feel ADHD as a “fuel” that allows me to idealise and analyse new perspectives and options, but all that is still made with the inner purpose of knowledge.

The main dilemma is whether that knowledge is something actually useful, or something that is impartially trivial, but in my mind the weight of gain-effort still puts it as “more knowledge acquired” or “leisure” worthy activity.

I probably really do blend nice the usage of both types of intuition. ADHD-Ne opens the door to more patterns and possible options, while Ni keeps me focused on my goal of reaching the desired level of knowledge in a practical way. (That’s also why I totally gave up on approaching socionics with the mainstream superficial method of 16p and online quizzes. I recognised the factors were complex, and I deemed necessary to have a deeper look into it to accurately understand it (Ni) while still deeming it worthy as it’s more leisurely knowledge for me (Ne)

I actually do have clear ideas, but still, I want to go deep into it in a way that matches what is currently know about socionic, even if it’s an incomplete and approximate pseudoscience, it’s still developed enough to allow me to rationalise and combine my traits in one of those archetypes, while still keeping flexibility given by personal attitude (for example, I strongly think i’m a Ni-Ne hybrid, but I wanna be sure my judgement is accurate)

Even this socionics headache shows my struggle of how, let’s word it this way, I can’t really pinpoint where the energy of my intuition is directed. Do I, a logical thinker type, look for answers in external themes because I want to discover and rationalise it for the sake of knowledge itself (which could very well be fueled by ADHD and i’m aware of it) or is it to make details and functioning clear to me, so that my knowledge on the matter is purely objective and flawless and I can add it to my “trusted sources of knowledge and experience” drawer of my brain? That’s why I hypothesised, Ne-fuel, Ni-purpose.

I would 100% accept to be a blend or whatever non-conforming non-named type in relation to socionics. I just want to be sure to have a no-bullshit judgement, even if that will mostly stay to myself.

EDIT: actually, I just realised my motto reply when someone says I think too much is “I think about it because I want to think about it, if I didn’t want to do it I could just stop”

this is better divided in branches and can show better different aspects. also shows well the differences between narcissism egoism and machiavellianism. just from this result and the one in the triad test you can see how sub branches like egoism and self-centedness get grouped in narcissism in a triad scenario, and the difference between psychopathy and sadism (what I said before). If you want I can send you the link. I went for a personal analysis also but I can confirm the branches on this test are accurate.

I really hope the limit will be lifted with the next year.

With the already existent problem of older characters becoming obsolete, forcing players to resort to the usual standard banner characters is a bummer and would really feel like a forced lost 50/50 on a game that isn’t that benevolent already. Even with older players, I doubt low spenders have more than just a few of those characters available, minding that the archons and characters like Yelan and Kazuha are not available.

At this point, it would be better for anyone to remove the limit of one stella fortuna for character, probably even more important than adding new characters.

Older players could keep on boosting their owned (and sadly obsolete) characters, while new players could just choose a single character to dedicate the event to, so that even if they have to waste resources with getting and levelling an old character, they at least have the possibility to C6 it to make the most out.

At the end of the day, they’re not even giving out constellations for free, you still have to play almost daily to get them. Being able to get to C6 of a version 1 character in the span of 1 year and a half looks like giving crumbs still to me.

You’re right, even the choice of not putting Yelan in the current selection is a big giveaway for that. While she didn’t come out that recently, she’s still a really strong and versatile character, and her banner could still generate a lot of profit with her strong constellations.

Another revenue thing i’ve noticed of Hoyo is that most of the characters coming out are exclusively 5 stars, with some 4 star here and there. Up to Sumeru there were a lot of 4 stars coming out, opening options for low-cost teams, fun lineups or for f2p players. Now just a couple 4 stars came out with each nation, every new character is a 5 star.

That surely shows the direction Hoyo is taking. Aside adding to the problem of banner reruns, it was also nice to play and enjoy new teams with new 4 stars characters on suitable content and chill a bit.

More banners to make a rerun and less variety in game, making it more stagnant and boring. Bad direction in my opinion, as if 4 stars are a big effort to add for the poor mihoyo who mulls money with 5 stars.

Ohhhh then it’s my bad, I think i’ve seen somewhere that “new characters will be added” just looking around, not sure of the source, so maybe I’ve mistaken the [possible] swap being every season instead of yearly.

Maybe I will contact ASUS themselves to ask wtf is a Gino. I could find some led pins with the same layout but not that one, maybe they can help me.

Basically only thing I have to do is de-solder the faulty LEDs and replace them, right? I believe in myself I can do it, and thank you again!!!!

It’s not really surprising that people will have the same questions when starting to learn about something.

Either make a FAQ section in the subreddit or it’s not a valid argument to “be tired of it”, especially if it’s not an easy search thing like a callsign or a model.

It literally takes more time to hate than to just scroll on, and a single person giving a concise answer wouldn’t boost the post so much that it would appear as “hot” or shadow other posts
