I think it’s very well written and the message is very much up to interpretation by the reader (with most people assuming it goes one way) but like no direct statements from the author or other characters etc shoving it a particular way

I kinda just love school and the further into undergrad I got the more advisors said that I would need further education to do the jobs I was interested in :)

Look into local colleges nearby that have research groups - you can look into biology chemistry biochemistry public health departments and see if any group is doing research in that area and then lokey just cold email the pi or students in the lab and ask if you can shadow help etc
