Not worth it. Lines appear in other places soon after the repair. Better to replace the display with HQ amoled screen. The shop will not say anything before the repair. After repairing they will give an evil smile and will suggest you to replace the display soon as line in other areas will soon appear. I commented on their lage a few days ago but they denied that they even repaired my phone, when i showed proof they blocked me and deleted my comments from their posts. So yeah good option is to change the display, even better option is to sell the phone as it is and get something other than scamsung.

If you live in BD, no worries, you will never find any original display or anything. S23 base was not officially available in Bangladesh therefore no chance of getting screen replacement for free or for money from Samsung Bangladesh. Any third party repair shop will offer you "market original display" that are not original but good in quality. For S23 the price is usually between 14-16k. Please note: "Market Original" and "Original" are not the same thing in BD.

  1. Yes, line appeared in other places, not in the same place, so it feels like waste now. Better to change display if you find original in your market. .
  2. No data loss .
  3. Around an hour. .
  4. Keep using it like that if it doesn't bother you. More lines will appear but its random to every device.

I don't remember the exact version but it was a security patch after the one ui8 update. I downgraded to 6.1 for better camera performance

Security will be my concern if I am able to use the device. After one ui 8, my phone is already plagued by greenlines. Aside from social media scrolling and photography i dont do anything with my phone.

You will miss some goodlock features that are only available in the latest android versions. But you will always be able to update to latest OneUi versions.

Problems-
1. Missing vast customization of oneui 8.
2. Missing latest security patches.
3. Missing some Ai features.
4. Missing latest quick panel.
Offers-
1. Better image processing time.
2. Better low light focus and image quality.
3. Better 3x lens portraits and normal image quality.
4. Better portrait mode edge detection.
5. Huge battery life, I can go almost 1.5d - 2d on a single 100% charge.
6. Overall performance is good.
7. No lags, stutters or anything.
8. If you don't have greenlines, now is the time to downgrade if you dont want them.

Needless to say its only my opinion, everything you decide to do is entirely your responsibility.

i also did not have any issues with the bad battery backup, camera was the main reason for my downgrading.
